I came here 2 years to give and update about Leaders laptop I bought. This is the worst laptop I have ever used in my life. It's life span is not more than a year. It is disappointing, because I wanted to support a local brand. I should have stuck with HP and Dell, they have proven overtime to be the best. Show details

No warranty – 3 week wait on faulty asus motherboard . They Want $55 to replace cpu socket 'damaged' suddenly after 11 months use. Extremely poor.

Rubbish – I bought a laptop from Leader Computers, $1860 worth thinking I was getting something decent, and it packed up within the first two weeks, replaced with a new one. Speakers are crap, poor sound and and low volume, forever hanging up when changing to a new page and keeps loosing wi-fi reception, biggest piece of crap I have ever bought. Show details

Shonky computer – My Leader computer is 2 YRS old paid $700, now out of warranty had little personal use opened and closed once per day ..as I am a senior . The hinges broke and was quoted $600 to repair it which I will not pay as the top has to be replaced. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. Show details

Terrible quality and customer service – Bought one for my daughter's schooling, went for a decent type, not base model. Before 12 months the motherboard needed replacing, computer was flickering off. Then months later screen glitches and screws coming out. Retailer wouldn't do exchange or refund so now have pushed it to QCAT. Not impressed at all, had many other laptop brands over the years and would never recommend this one, or the retailer I bought it from "Betta" ones out there. Show details

Expensive, poor customer service, very faulty product – I bought a 7.5k computer from them, within 2 days it faulted and couldnt be turned back on and their "customer service" was rude and unhelpful, giving the classic "turn it off and on again" advice. When they finally agree to come out and fix it, they can't, and have take it back to the the office, there they apparently took it all apart, put it all back together, tested it, found no fault, and sent it back, only for it to fail again. We do the whole dance again. Power fault. Send it back, still doesn't work. We dance again. Cooling fault. Send it back. Finally works. Took over two weeks to get this all done. Now three months later it's failing again. I could find a team of 8 year olds that could do a better job building a computer, and they'd have better manners. Severely overcharged, very poor service, very poor product.

I did not expect much - but it really works – I came from a brand computer - I bought this as a stop-gap - but it does everything, so I am keeping it. Uploaded all my apps and as that was going well added a few more. Linked my mobile to it, printer, speakers, Bluetooth, and wireless with no issues. I even upgraded it from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I have also decided to buy four more for my children. My thoughts are - give it a go. Show details

I’ve this apropos for 5 days and it’s had nothing but problems – I’ve taken it back to the store I bought it from and they’ve sorted out most of the issues it I’m not happy with it. It wouldn’t pick up my wifi while it picked up the neighbours. My wifi is fine we also use iPads and phones with it no trouble. I’m constantly having trouble signing into apps or YouTube Chanel’s . can’t afford an Apple laptop so maybe part of the problem is getting used to it. One more issue though and I’ll be asking for a refund . I didn’t know it was an Australian brand until I read these reviews. Come on Aussie you can do better

Surprised that it does not support wifi – I like that Leader is Australian but disappointed that there is no HDMI port on the computer to enable me to connect the Lenovo monitor I purchased today. But further to that, this computer never supported wi-fi. All up Leader computer has not met my expectations.  Show details

fantastic computer i only have one crouch rate 9 0ut of 10 – High my name is john like to buy all australian the key board lighting is no bright enought u cant see the keboard properly im still very happy with my perchase i cant find any setting to alter the brightness kind regard john,

but couldn't we've soldered ? incase thats what it was and by the way 1 of the screen hinges was broken so we replaced it" I go and pick it up, the screen is spotless even marks that I couldnt get off are gone and the bill? $0!! IT COULD HAVE BEEN A MANUFACTURING FAULT, NOTHING YOUVE DONE by the look of it. why by another brand? fantastic service !!
