Avoid this place. Purchased a theatre screen for $1,350 + GST. The product remains completely unopened in its original packaging. I dealt directly with Scott, who operates both Roseboom Audio and Leisure Lounges. The soundbar component was quoted through Roseboom Audio, which publishes a return policy. The theatre screen, however, was invoiced under Leisure Lounges, which does not publish a clear return policy.
After previously exchanging a 120” screen for a 110”, I later sought to return the unused screen and offered a restocking fee well above the stated 20% policy to resolve the matter commercially.
Despite the product being unopened and a goodwill proposal being made, I was advised that Leisure Lounges could not deal with me directly because the invoice was issued to my installer (although I paid for the product myself). I was told I was “not their customer.” After I spoke with my installer, he was informed of the same position following their discussion.
No flexibility was offered.
Very disappointing experience.
Very happy – I ordered a custom made piece and had some older pieces reupholstered and am very happy with the outcome. It feels good to invest in Australian craftsmanship and quality materials and it is wonderful to be able to choose colours and fabrics and measurements to suit. Communication was very good. I have recommended to friends and family and next time I need a custom piece I will be back. Thankyou.
Australian Made Lounges – We have nothing but praise for both Scott and Rob of Leisure Lounges in Narellan. Both individuals worked with my wife and I to designed the Australian made lounge we wanted with extra padding, extra width in the seat area and a fantastic fabric choice to boot! We were promised a time and they delivered. One minor issue with the rear leg (broken in transit) and while it took a few reminder calls to get the part in and for someone to come out and replace it – all good now!
We highly recommend anyone looking to design their own Australian made lounge to give either Scott or Rob at Leisure Lounges a call – you will not be disappointed.
Amazing custom made lounges – Fantastic personalized service and AUSSIE made. Customized to my specs. Can choose legs, height , length,width, seat and cushion size as well as hundreds of different fabrics.Very comfortable and looks amazing! This is a family owned company and nothing is too much trouble.Told that turn around time from order to delivery was approximately 4 weeks and it was! Also,they deliver after hours for those that work. No more having to take a day off to sit and wait. Highly recommended!
