Excellent Bike, excellent customer service – Perfect for someone new to ebikes but is looking for something a little sturdier and solid that the foldable models. I've found this bike reliable and fun to ride. I use it 3 to 4 times for riding to work and 6 months later I'm still very happy with my purchase. Show details

Awesome Comfortable Bike – I have done about 1500km on my Leitner Berlin and it is a great bike. The seat and riding position are perfect for commuting. The rack, lights, mud guards and thick tube inclusions are so useful and something you then don't have to worry about. The build quality is good my daughter has been riding it and does give it a good hammering but it still looks in good condition. Brakes are good. Show details

Brilliant - Quality, Robust and Fun – It's brilliant. I was super sceptical (ironically due to all the 5-star reviews), but I purchased one in May 2018 to offset high parking costs, and I absolutely love it. The bike was essentially free since it saved me the cost of parking during it's first 6 months. The build quality, range and function of the bike is terrific. I've treated it… Read more

very roughly, taking it into national parks and riding on dirt tracks, and it's handled it flawlessly. After nearly five years of abuse, the only issues I've had are the headlight wires ripped out when the handlebar was turned too far (by me) to fit into the truck tray, and some noise from the motor, which started after I was riding through mud, so this is entirely on me. Also recommended one to my dad, who has also enjoyed his for years also. I'm saving up to buy the off road Leitner Electric Fat Bike next so I can stop mistreating my Berlin Cruiser.

Sad and Disappointed – A bit disappointed. Set up was easy enough. I feel as though the quality of the bike is cheap and ‘tacky’. Battery life is fine, lasted a couple days before having to charge again. Would suit an older couple perhaps, not what I was expecting. Very expensive for the quality, being a student this was suppose to be my only form of transportation. Not… Read more

value for the money I paid. I was weighing up between this brand and an Aventon bike, I deeply regret my decision of going with Leitner.

Leitner Step-Over Ebike Berlin Cruiser – The Leitner 26'' Step-Over Ebike Berlin Cruiser are very good product and the bike itself last really long time , when you use the bike every day the battery only lasts 4 1/2 half years , plus I wish there were more bike shops in Adelaide that would repair Leitner Ebikes

Brilliant Addition to the family – One of my best purchases ever. Umming & Ahhing for a while, then had a chat with a Leitner Ambassador, and decided to go ahead. Had it for about 5 months now and hasnt missed a beat. Never thought riding a bike could bring so much enjoyment. Show details

So impressed that we bought a second one – My wife bought one 2 months ago. She loves it. The build quality is very high, it makes light of hills and allows longer and more interesting bike rides (we opted for the bigger 16Ah battery). Saddle is very comfortable and the overall design is great - very European. I held out before finally trying hers and then buying one myself. My one… Read more

(minor) concern is that I am 6ft 3 and the frame size (distance between saddle and handlebars) is very slightly shorter than I would have ideally liked. However I've decided to accept this as a compromise because the bike is so good. I also think I can adjust the handlebars so that they clear my knees when turning. I do think that the one weakness of the whole buying system is the inability to see and try before buying. Our nearest volunteer person who could show us the bike was well over 40 minutes drive away. We tried contacting him and he didn't reply - not great. So it was a leap of faith to buy blind - but it was the reviews on sites like this that persuaded us . We are glad we took the gamble - but this explains why we only bought one to start with. I suspect that this is why the company has to be really on top of its game with high quality products and customer service - because trust is critical when no physical shop exists.

It has changed my life – OMG, OMG, OMG!! I love them. Just a little feedback, the bikes arrived about 11 this morning. I put both batteries on charge and preceded to put my wife's and my bike together. It took me a few hours to do both bikes but had no real issues at all putting them together. Everything fits well, and the brakes needed no adjusting at all which was a… Read more

bonus. With weather coming I had everything finished and batteries charged by four o'clock, it was recommended in the manual to get used to the bike, so I rode it first with no battery to get the hang of it. It rode really well, albeit a little heavier than normal but it just felt like a push bike to ride. I then put the battery in, I used the throttle to start moving the bike and then started peddling up our driveway and could not believe how easy it was with pedal assist. Although i live on acres with plenty of room to ride, it was straight out on the road and I'm off. (This bit, is a bit personal.) I am 62 this year in Dec, and my wife and I have been active hikers, rock climbers, cavers, hang glider pilots, and basically led very active lives. As I got older, I started having problems with pain in my legs which ended up being narrowing arteries in my legs. Which in turn caused me intense pain when i try to walk distance, 100m is it for me and I have to stop walking and wait a min or two before i can walk another 100m or so. It has been secretly distressing for me knowing my wife is healthy and could walk twenty km without breaking a sweat and I can't join her. It has been heart breaking living next to Wison's Prom with so many beautiful walks and trails at hand, but not being able to walk any with my beautiful wife. She never complains that I can't walk with her and the dog, but it breaks my heart that I can't. It will sound corny, but I shed a few tears on the ride back home knowing that distance was now a thing of the past. Leitner, you have changed my life, you have given me back the freedom of twenty years ago. No longer will my wife walk without me, as we both now have Leitner bikes and many new adventures lie in wait for us. Thank you!

Great Bike and Great Price – I own 2 mountain electric bikes and this is my first cruiser style electric bike and I could not be happier, it allows you to adjust the bike to rider which gives you the a felling of comfort when riding. It was easy to assemble. The quality of bike for the price in my opinion would be hard to match. Great bike and service from Leitner. Show details
