I have two. They happily sit next to each other in my kitchen and look great. One is for regular coffee and one for decaf. I’ve had them both for a couple of years.
If you look at all the videos out there, much is made of the apparent difficulty in adjusting the grind of the mini. In practice I’ve never had an issue, even for very fine adjustments. The threads inside the machine are greased and run smoothly. My suggestion is to ignore all the ‘experts’.
Programming the dose for single and double is very easy and is done with the touch of a fi...

I have owned a Mazzer Mini for 6 years for home use. There's a reason many/most cafes choose Mazzer grinders. It's the type of machine that if looked after will last a lifetime. Parts are also readily available, not that I have ever required them (apart from a set of replacement burrs every few years). It looks great on the kitchen bench too. I have the doser (click/click lever arrangement) model and my only slight critism would be some grind retention but that's nit picking.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy a good used example either if the cost of a new unit is prohibitive. Admittedly it is a luxury having expensive appliances like this however I do not mind spending the money if it does a good job and lasts a lifetime.
Purchased in for $899.

What can I say about this that hasn't already been said
- This is the best appliance you will buy for under $1K.
- You will dive out of bed in anticipation of pressing the grind button
- Your mornings will be made fresh again with the awesome smell, taste, feel and vibrance of perfectly ground coffee.
The advantages behind buying a mini mazzer are so great that you should do it immediately. I previously bought an excellent grinder and thought it couldn't be bettered, then I got that mazzer. This machine is perfect for home use. I under...
Read morestand if you are churning through more than 4kg of coffee per day then you need a bigger diameter blade, but not even I go through that so don't concern yourself with the blade diameter, just know that it is enough for a rock solid 5 hits a day if necessary. I have an excellent coffee machine - ECM Technika IV - and this grinder is up to the task of producing the required grind quality for my coffee machine. If you have a good coffee machine don't get the point and shoot grinder that comes with the 2 boiler machine, get the mazzer. You will wonder why you didn't buy it earlier.
