What kw capacity is the Tango 16?
Is it safe to plug my Tange 16 ac into an ordinary power point without affecting the wiring or 20a fuse
I’m thinking I may have to order a new pipe as mine keeps popping off even when I use tape to try and hold it on, has anyone bought the new fittings again as they are worth $169?!
Does this unit heat as well as cool ??
Yes it does
Thanks for that
Can i use this air con without the pipe going through the window?
Unlikely. The pipe supposedly takes the hot air out. Guess it depends what type of windows and how close you can get it.
In short, the answer is no, You need to evacuate the heat it produces when cooling and it is substantial
Air hose falls out of holder at back of machine. Has anyone found a way to hold it in place , have tried duct tape
Hi Lynn. I’ve had same problem. Found the it takes careful adjustment to make sure the tabs actually are in the slots and turned to lock. You just have to be careful when putting in window. Not Much to do about it. Worst problem I’ve found is how hot the vent tube gets which detracts from running it. I have to cover the vent in a blanket. They should have made it insulated
What are the 2 plugs for at the back of the unit?
Hi Dean
Not sure if you got an answer for your question. The plugs are for water. The cooler needs to be drained every so often. Can't remember how often, don't use it anymore. Do it outside if you can there can be a lot of water.
My air vents won't swing so air is just blowing up...is there a secret... it has just been unpacked
I have the same issue.. did you find a solution?
We never got instruction sheet on how to connect, should tube be put on rear?? Have tried looking up on google, quicker to paint a room.
I thought the drainage tube might be needed but it wasn't (just plugged it up in the end, with the black plug included). It's the top drainage opening though. Contact Levante Australia by email if you get stuck. They were really responsive and super helpful.
Curious about water drainage. Does it recycle the moisture taken from the air, or does it need emptying frequently. What kind of drain is it? Any info about this would be useful.
It doesn't require any emptying on air con mode. It does for dehumidifying (there is a drip pipe), but I haven't used that yet. I have found that occasionally there is a small puddle at the back after extended use, but it may be from condensation, I'm not really sure.
