My LG 55EG910T OLED won't turn on. The Red standby light at bottom centre TV (beneath LG symbol) is illuminated RED (static, not flashing or blinking). I'm unable to turn TV on using the remote or by pressing the TV power button (under standy light). I have changed batteries in remote, I have disconnected TV from power (unplugged) and left unplugged 1 minute, 5 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week. We bought TV brand new December 2016 and used it for 6 months. Since that time it has been sitting idle and unplugged from power & back in its box. Any suggestions?
Most likely the motherboard as this happened to me. Part is about $250.
I have the same problem. LG were unhelpful because the tv was out of warranty even though the tv had less than 4000 hours of use (they advertise 100000
