Like your on set of the movies – The picture is absolutely amazing, it’s as if you on set at the movie. You can see all the fine details and the smallest bead of sweat on actors faces. This technology is fantastic with bright colours and crisp pictures you can’t ask for better quality or sound. The sound is also extremely crisp.  Show details

If I could give zero stars I would – I purchased an LG OLED65BT Smart TV approximately 18 months ago from Harvey Norman for a massive price tag of over $6000. One would expect I would have the “bees knees” of Smart TV’s for the price I paid, however since purchasing the TV I've had nothing but trouble. Within the first year of owning the TV, the first problem started. The TV… Read more

freezes when viewing free to air. I contacted LG within the 12 month warranty period and was advised to do a factory reset and that they would send out a technician to inspect the issue at my cost! To which I refused.

Why should I be responsible for the costs of a product under warranty? I performed the factory reset and unfortunately this made no difference to the issue of the TV freezing.

I contacted LG on numerous occasions regarding the freezing and had no luck at getting this issue addressed. As LG didn’t seem interested in helping a loyal customer with a product fault I decided to let the LG warranty period run out, and to try and have the TV repaired or replaced under the Harvey Norman product care which was purchased with the TV.

I contacted Harvey Norman regarding the first issue of the TV freezing whilst viewing free to air and another two issues which arose; screen burn and channel loss. Harvey Norman contacted LG to organize a technician to remove and repair the TV.

The screen burn, freezing and channel loss issues were supposedly rectified and the TV was returned within 24 hours, without a functioning remote control. Unfortunately not all the issues had been rectified and within the week the TV was freezing again and the channel loss was still occurring.

Having to ring Harvey Norman again to advise the issues had not been rectified the Technician was back to take the TV again. The TV was loaded into the back of an open Ute in wet weather, not ideal. Believing this was unacceptable I advised the technician if there was any water damage to the TV from traveling in the back of a Ute it would need to be replaced.

The LG Technician returned the TV within 48 hours; again the issues were supposedly rectified. 3 days later the TV was still freezing. Yet another call to Harvey Norman and I was advised an LG Product Representative would contact me to discuss options going forward. LG contacted me and I was advised they would not replace the TV until they got a third report. LG sent out a technician for the third time. He checked the aerial, said there was nothing that appeared to be wrong, and said there was nothing they could do and left the premises.

I was advised by Harvey Norman on numerous occasions that LG Management would contact me. I am still yet to hear from them……..it’s been 2 weeks!

Having had enough of being messed about I requested Harvey Norman deal directly with LG to come to an agreed outcome. LG advised Harvey Norman that they would only deal directly with me as the customer. Guess this only works if LG actually make the effort to contact me.

I have purchased many LG products in the past, all which have been quality and trouble free. Marketing and selling this product as “Top of the Range New Technology” is misleading and deceptive.

LG what disgraceful customer service, shame on you! You have lost a loyal customer out of this.

Fantastic TV – I love this TV since I purchased and although extremely expensive it is probably worth the outlay. I purchased it due to the capability to use Dolby Vision as I have a Panasonic 900 which only has HDR. The picture is extremely crisp and the picture would be hard to beat. The picture is the same across all LG OLED models so it is worth just buying… Read more

the cheap version as you still get the same picture. The smart features are beyond fault and I use it for Netflix and Stan which all run faultlessly. I wouldnt trade this TV for anything. I really dont understand why Samsung and Panasonic havent embraced Dolby Vision they are losing millions in revenue in my belief.

Perfect – One distinguishing feature of this LG TV is the picture quality. It is quite pricey but we couldn't be happier with our purchase. We bought it one year ago and we cannot say anything negative about it. Another thing about this TV is it is very thin and saves you a lot of space.  Show details

Happy with purchase – We have had this TV for nearly a year and are happy with the product. The only downside has been that even though we upgraded to Foxtel HD, some of the channels have a faint line appearing at the top of the screen. It was a very expensive tv but the picture quality is excellent.  Show details

Quality better than expected – Despite the more costly price, the OLED had significantly clearer and more defined picture quality in comparison to many other TV screens in the in-store shop. The screen size was also a considerably large size, but fit well into our home without taking up too much space as the frame was thin.  Show details

CANNOT get any better than this!!!! – Expensive but so worth it. Our TV viewing and gaming experience has become almost virtual. Enough ports for everything, and the sound quality is like we are sitting in the actual Cinema. The only down side is the clarity is so sharp, you see EVERYTHING.. ie bad make-up/skin/props etc. Love it  Show details

Simply the best picture on the market – I have just bought the successor to this the B7T for another application. The B6T's picture and black levels are amazing. I am upscaling Foxtel 1080 HD Footy to 4K via an amp and the LG delivers the best picture I have seen. The LG operating system is intuitive and easy to use. If you have to have the best this is the TV to buy.  Show details

Crisp Sharp with perfect black as only OLED can deliver – Breathtaking picture quality. Especially good for photographers slide shows. With HDMI 2 inputs. Videos can be projected at 60 Hz giving silky smooth graphics. . Firmware and remote functionality are first class. Sound quality most suited to pass on via optical or HDMI. Unbelievable! If only they made it bigger – Picture quality is simply the best. The blacks are totally black and the contrast is enormous and breathtaking. The built in speakers are average so we invested in the Sonos sound bar and sub woofer. It has ports for all our needs including the 4K blue ray player ( a Gears of War limited edition, 2 terabyte Xbox One S). Using Netflix we can watch 4K movies : perfection. It has it all.  Show details

Most brilliant television – This Smart TV is beyond our expectations. You are actually part of the action like 3D. The sound is fantastic and the colours out of this world. Only one problem.....I cannot prise my husband out of his chair. Easy to set up and the mouse idea is terrific. If you are waiting to buy a TV get in now for the new model will be more expensive for a few years.  Show details

I am inlove with my tv – Pretty simple review - there is nothing I don't like about this TV. Fast, clear, good sound, aesthetically pleasing, webOS is awesome, smart remote is great. Even with the new technology coming out this TV is already ahead of the pack and will easily last me 5 + years. PS Bought reconditioned of Grays online and got 5 years extended warranty. Very happy with the condition.  Show details

Brilliant! – Switched to LG since it was quite noticeable for me that most of the hotels worldwide increasly use LG brand TVs. Picture quality is amazing. Our family does not watch TV very often, and it is a treat to sit and watch a movie on our OLED tv. Built-in speakers are alright but we also upgraded to external Sonos sound system. it has been mounted… Read more

into wall, has enough ports for external devices, exceptionally pleased with the operating system and apps! LG OLED is a way to go!

Wonderful TV – LG have a great reputation for most of their products but this 3D Oled TV is just something different. Excellent clarity and colour sharpness. Ultra dark back ground makes pictures just jump out at you.. The sound via the SONOS sound bar is out of this world. The $4500 price tag seems expensive but once you sit down and enjoy what it has to offer you will soon realize that you have a TV which is just simply a leap above the rest.  Show details

Great reliable tv – Happy with all the functions especially when using my indoor outdoor Bose system and Internet. The picture / graphics when playing music or games is as good as I've ever used. I get great sound when playing music to any of my speakers especially the out door speakers around the pool and outdoor entertainment area.  Show details

Right now, as good as TV gets! – Feed it properly, and this TV responds with magnificent picture quality! I don't use its internal speakers, and mainly view ABC live TV and content on DVD, BluRay & 4k BluRay using the equally superb Panasonic UB900 player. I have never seen a better picture than this combination manages on the Berliner Philharmoniker's recent Sibelius BluRay… Read more

release. On live TV the picture quality is quite variable but then the ABC thinks 720p is High Definition. The smart remote is very usable and channel changing is near instantaneous. Normally I don't like LED TVs, much preferring my Pioneer Kura plasma, but this TV betters even the Kura.

Expensive but worth it – While we have had LCD TV's for some time, this is our first non-cheap one. The picture clarity is fantastic, so good that I am seeing detail in movies that I have never seen before. The black in movies such as Star Wars has such depth. The built in speakers are ok, not fantastic as the TV is so thin there is not much space for decent speakers,… Read more

but we run it through a sound bar and that makes up for the TV's reduced sound quality. This is a common thing with the thinner TVs.

The smart part of the TV is great, we can access internet channels, Stan & Netflix if we wish, as well as other internet apps. The TV plays well through the HDMI ports and connects easily to new devices.

All in all, thus far, 6 weeks in, we have no complaints.

Absolute perfection! Worth every cent! – The brilliance of this product is beyond astounding. I would highly recommend to everyone. It might have a hefty price tag. In saying that comparing it to other models you can see why it's got a massive price tag. The colours are immersive, the picture is perfect. It's everything you want in a TV and more, easy set up and use. Ultra 4K movies through a 4K player are perfect. If you want a high quality TV this LG is the go!  Show details
