How do I use the air spin function? If I press on spin button for 3 seconds as it says in manual nothing happens

To Air Spin - while lid/door open press the Spin Button for 3 seconds. After that change the timing by pressing the Spin Button momentarily.

Has anyone found a way to stop this machine from tangling the clothes..my clothes are a being tangled, stretched & it has actually torn and pulled threads out! Not to mention the lint and pilling!

Try spreading clothes around the outside of bowl and use a higher water level. The damage to clothes is caused by the lint filters as threads get caught and pulled.I tried to get a refund but was brushed Off by these uncareing people.

I too have this problem as well as others eg. control of water level, spin cycle on quick wash, etc and am very very unhappy with the LG WTG9032WF washing machine. I really don't have anything good to say about this product and will not consider another LG product due to many problems I have with this washing machine. I wouldn't recommend this machine to anyone.

The soft close lid does not close softly

Most definitely. We just touch the lid and down she goes in slow motion with a silent seal. Thats another beautiful feature of this machine.

Same here I just go to close half way and it does the rest. Yours must be faulty, call the warranty number or were you bought it from to get it fixed

Tom, see video I just posted for a soft lid closure. It states this on the LG website specs.

Can you post a video so we can see exactly what your lid does?

We have replaced the two lid hinges as one was leaking hydraulic oil and this has corrected the condition

Can anyone tell me how they are managing to wash black clothes in this machine without them coming out dirty & covered in lint? Thanks.

Doesn't it have a lint filter? Maybe it is over full? Sorry, I don't have one, but am hazarding a guess.

Yes, it has a link filter, which I constantly clean, but black clothes still come out with greyish coloured streaks. :(

Sounds like the clothing / colour dye is the problem. It has two large lint filters. Clean them.

Did that. Didn't work. However problem now solved - for me . . . I sold the machine on Gumtree. Paid around $800, sold it after a month for $300. I will never buy a top loader without an agitator again. No wonder this machine receives only 2 stars. :(
