5th warranty call out same issue – ⚠️REVIEW UPDATED: Sep 23, 2025 Was about to have a tech attend for the 5th time in 4.5 years for the same issue, ice build up on the freezer interior rear wall. Gets so serious over a year or so that the draw cannot close, the distributor did not want to replace the unit just keep fixing it until the warranty ran out. Thankfully the retailer Winnings Group have come to the rescue and arranged with the Australian distributor Andico to replace the faulty appliance. Honestly wouldn't risk buying a major appliance any where else but Winnings/Appliances Online. Regardless of the fault would purchase Liebherr refrigeration again in the future.

This is our second large Liebherr fridge/freezer in 7 years, the first (also reviewed) which was sold with our property. This model has some improvements over the french door model we had, cleaning the dust filter at floor level is much easier, motor noise is quieter and a new extended 5 year w/tee! These fridges seem great value compared to a very similar German and USA luxury appliance manufacturer. Personally I would not buy any other refrigerator. Absolutely love these, they perform well and look great. Overall highly recommend these appliances.

Nice styling and great temperature control – We purchased this fridge 12 months ago, but due to delays in a kitchen renovation , it's only been installed and running for 2 months now.. We chose this fridge for a few reasons. The cabinetry integration was the primary reason. When installed, the doors sat proud by a few mm, but upon my own investigation, I found the cabinet maker had fitted the doors incorrectly, (it took a bit of convincing), so after he rectified that minor hiccup it blends in seamlessly and looks great..
As a refrigeration mechanic, I was impressed by the dual compressor system . Temperature control in both the fridge and freezer is precise and rapid, so that I'm finding food is preserving well in the fridge..
The only potential draw back is the height of the top shelf of the refrigerator. If your of short statue your not going to place anything up there..
The dual freezer drawer system we are adjusting to..We definitely find there is less space overall compared to old Westinghouse Silhouette Fridge/freezer, but it is still meeting our needs. The ice maker works well and silently..
The fridge is also very quiet...very little compressor noise..
So far we are very happy with our purchase...but I will report back if there any difficulties..
A couple of drawbacks about the fridge....no' 1 is the price..we got a good deal through Camberwell Electric Melbourne. $7500 delivered, but even though...its a lot of coin compared to a Westinghouse or Samsung. But we chose this one for the cabinetry integration.
We would have preferred the liebherr pigeon pair fridge/freezer, because it would allow better access to all areas for all members of the household, like the kids..but space was an issue..so the French Door style was optioned for..
2ndly, the condenser coil filter on the fridge will require regular cleaning, which could be a hassle if your in a dusty environment.
3rdly, ..You have to be on the ball to make sure the cabinet maker correctly designs the cabinet for adequate ventilation.
So apart from the cost and filter cleaning, it's a great fridge that blends well and operates beautifully. I'd recommend it to someone looking to buy one..
