Not nearly as Good as They Used to Be – Lindt 70% Chocolate Bars have been near the top of my list of favorite chocolate bars for years. Until a month ago. I bit into a fresh bar and noticed right away that the consistency, rather than the familiar velvety smooth bite, was brittle and chalky. It doesn't instantly start melting with rich goodness anymore. Instead, it stays hard and… Read more

waxy before it finally dissolves. What has happened? Has the company changed hands and recipes? I give the current bars 2 Stars, and don't plan to buy more. I miss the old, reliable quality of Lindt Chocolate, which I'd give 5 Stars!

Very nice – Although I wouldn't buy it at full price, this is high quality chocolate that tastes great and has a smooth texture to it.

Too mild dark chocolate – Lindt is always good quality. The chocolate melts good in your mouth. It says mild on the package, and this is true. In my opinion this a too mild dark chocolate and it does not give you the dark intense chocolate experience. It is in a way a bit boring, and chocolate should never be boring to eat. I would not buy it again.

Its a thinner bar than the 200g size, ofcourse this is smaller size and you are paying more money (but most Lindt products are more expensive anyway). The chocolate has 70% cocoa, so this is supposed to be the minimum percentage which is good for you. So, I dont feel too… Read more

guilty if I eat a couple of squares of this one. Its easy to break and sit back and enjoy. Its got a nice dark-bittery taste to it and because of this, I can only eat a couple of squares anyway. Its easy to break and melts well in my mouth. It is expensive, but any Lindt product is expensive, so you are supposed to be getting good quality.

OK – This product is way too strong for my palate to tolerate. It is very, very rich to taste, and even the smell is too strong. This would be a product for the hard core dark chocolate lovers. For the normal chocoholic like myself, I can't recommend it. It comes in very attractive packaging, making it look elegant and classy. It is produced by Lindt,… Read more

who has an excellent reputation for making great quality chocolate. Although I enjoy dark chocolate, the Lindt Excellence 70% Cocoa is way too strong and rich for me. I can only tolerate it in the smallest piece possible.

OK – This is a very nice dark chocolate. 70% not too bitter or strong. Lindt is a fine chocolate that melts in your mouth without all the chewing and sucking. A bit more expensive than cadburys but a finer choice. High in antioxidants yummmm. melts in your mouth melts too fast
