Do not buy horrible – The reviews of people are fake and scam like. Do not buy as the wifi connection disconnects 4-5 times every day. Youtube is lmpossible, no videos will load and online games are impossible. Please avoid at all costs or you will waste your money on this network that just steals. Show details
Decent but expected more for the price – Wifi works well when within 10m. However I was expecting greater range from this machine as I purchased it over the standard telstra model that arrived with our new broadband connection. Range has increased however there are issues with intermittent dropping out of the service and not getting full bars greater than 15m away. Show details
Perfect router. 0 Dropouts – Very stable once set properly. WiFi is consistent and does not drop out, even on 5 GHz. Although the price is a bit steep it definitely worth it, you get what you paid for. Just a note on the comment of waste of money because they can't set it up, they provided a setup utility or just go to 192.168.1.1 if you are power users. Show details
A Good Modem – At beginning, I had doubt to buy it but After reviewing its chipset and specs, I gave it a try and switched to it from previous TP-8961. now my ADSL and wifi connections are both stable although I am living far from DSL exchange (3.5 km) and also our bundling is too polluted with neighbors WiFi signal. mostly about its stable 5G WiFi
Worst modem router i've ever had – This was almost impossible to set up, requires a CD to install. Takes approximately 20 mins to run through all the options. DSL light rarely comes on. Had my ISP check and they said everything ok on their end. Reconfigured settings several times. Sometimes the DSL light is out for up to 12 hours. Returning for a full refund. Waste of time and money.
Waste of Money – I bought this Wireless Router for the ability to individualize the Parental control settings for each of my teenage children. If you just want to use the basic settings this router was easy to set up using the setup software. However, if you are an advanced user wanting to use all the routers capabilities the router interface is a nightmare to… Read more
navigate around. It takes forever for the router to save the input settings (most of the time it would not save the settings - however sometimes it did). The DHCP function was also very temperamental. Devices were constantly being released from the network even after I double checking that the lease time was set for the maximum. All in all I would recommend that you steer clear of this product and look else where. Nothing Does not save the settings input into it.
