Simply Heartbroken and Disappointed – Purchased a cockatiel for my son, it was our second bird. Took it home and did what was advised (feeding formula once a day) before i left i was told to call the store and come in if anything went wrong. The bird seemed weak but I honestly thought it was due to being weeks old. The bird was sneezing constantly which I thought was still ok until two days ago it started to sneeze and mucus was coming out of the nose. Blocked nose and eyes were unable to open any longer. I rushed to the vet, they gave the poor thing a dose of antibiotics and about 5 minutes later poor little thing couldn't hold its head up and died. I truly believe the owner as well as the staff knew this bird was unwell and should not have sold it. More than anything we are left Heartbroken over this beautiful little bird we only had for 4 weeks.

Diseased birds – Do NOT purchase birds from this store. I purchased a 12 week old Ecclectus parrot for $850. Soon after purchasing, I started to notice her feathers were thinning on her chest and on her head. I thought maybe she was losing baby feathers to grow adult ones. This progressively became worse. I took her to a vet and spent a further $650 for them to run tests. She has 'Beak and feather disease'. This is deadly and she will NOT have a long and healthy life as she should. The vet has informed me that the only ways she would have caught it is from the p[lace I purchased her- from her parents or from the other birds at this store.
