Living Textiles Smart Dream Sleeping Bag 2.5 tog – I own both the Living Textiles and Plum branded sleeping bags. I bought the Living Textiles Robot 2.5 tog for the cooler months and my baby loves the soft cuddly fabric. It's warm and well padded. However I get frustrated every time I have to put him to bed and do the zip up. The zipper fastener is at the neck of the bag which makes it very… Read more
difficult to do up with a wriggling writhing baby and impossible to do up in a dim lit nursery. I have to turn the light on which wakes my baby who had dosed off in my arms, and I have to then try to rock him back to sleep again. The Plum sleeping bags have the zipper fastener is at the bottom of the bag, making it much easier to put baby to bed. I wish I had have bought a Plum 2.5 tog bag instead. Soft cuddly fabric. Cute robot print. Zipper fastener is at neck of the bag making it virtually impossible to do up with a wriggling baby or in a dimly lit nursery.
Excellent sleeping bag! – I have bought a few of these and also a few Gro Bags. They are both excellent brands and very comparable in quality. The TOG guide takes the guess work out of how much bedding to put on. Perfect for wriggly little ones who would have no hope of staying under blankets. Keep an eye out for sales, I bought mine around 50% off, bargain! These would… Read more
easily last through several children. Great quality, keeps bub warm all night. Expensive but they do have good sales.
Great quality! – We have used these sleeping bags for both our children and we love them. They are great quality, and we love that it makes dressing bub for bed time so much easier using the TOG guide. I bought all of ours from www.livingtextiles.com.au on sale for $20 - $25 each. Bargain!!! Great quality & easy to use
Functional, durable and great value for money – Excellent value for money. Very durable. I have only ever used sleeping bags and these compare well with other well known brands. I have a preference for zippers that start from the top, but don't mind the zip starting from the bottom as it does on this one. I like that it doesn't have a seat belt opening. Durable, great value, functional. A little big for babies under 6 months
Good – I find that my baby sleeps quite well in this bag and I feel comforted knowing that he will stay warm, especially as he kicks his legs about quite a bit. Love the Twinkle Twinkle design and find that it washes really well. I sewed on a couple of small press studs to make the arm holes a bit smaller, as my bub is on the small side and the arm… Read more
openings were quite big.
The only thing it does need, that other bags do have, is a seatbelt access hole at the back. I know the zip undoes so that a seatbelt can be used, but then bubs legs are uncovered. I love this sleeping bag! Unlike some others, I like that the zip starts under the arm and runs down the bag to the bottom. It makes for easy access to the bottom half of bubs for that all important nappy change in the middle of the night. I have a different brand bag that has the zip the opposite way and find I have to undo the whole bag to gain the same access. No hole for seatbelt access, otherwise this review would have been 5 stars.
OK – Decent for the price, but I think a gro-bag is worth the extra money. It is ruined in my opinion by the bottom opening zip. Price- I picked one up for $20 AUD. I am a sleeping bag convert anyway due to the SIDS benefits etc. I really dislike that the zipper opens from the bottom. It makes it fiddly to get on baby when you have a dimly lit nursery… Read more
and I often find I wake baby when I try to do it up. It also makes it harder to take off. It is also missing the additional press studs under the arms that the gro-bag has so is not quite as broad in the size.
Good – Overall, I have found this to be an easy to use, high quality product. I believe them to be as good as grobags and they are considerably cheaper, especially when on special! Lovely soft cotton material. Quite reasonably priced and are often on special on their website. There is a chart on the packet suggesting what baby should wear depending on… Read more
room temperature which takes out some of the worry about baby being too hot or cold. Excellent zip - far superior to some other brands. Should have a hole for the car seat. If they had this there would be no reason for my to own any other brand of sleeping bag.
Excellent – We have two of these and our daughter knows that as soon as she has her sleeping bag on it's time for bed. She didn't really ever like to be wrapped as she always wanted her arms out. These sleeping bags allow her complete freedom of movement in her arms, while still keeping her warm as she's not able to kick it off like she would blankets. The… Read more
materials are good quality. SIDS recommended; baby loves it; look great; easy to tell if you've got baby dressed warmly enough; easy to put on and off; good price nothing, they're great
Good – For the price, these sleeping bags are very good. I particularly like the lighter weight ones, they wash well and do not irritate baby's skin. Great price, good choice of colours. Winter weight doesn't seem to be warm enough, but this could just mean my baby's room is super cold.
Excellent – This was a great alternative to the original grobags, as it was much cheaper (over 50% cheaper). I got it when my baby moved to a cot, and it has been fantastic. I have only got the 2.5 TOG at the moment, but I will get the other TOGs for all year round. My baby sleeps so well in this sleeping bag. A great buy. Keeps baby warm at night. Easy to… Read more
wash. Baby can't undo zipper. Cute designs for boy or girl. I got a neutral design to use for future children too. Doesn't have hole for car seat.
Excellent – After an early start to the summer, I initially was searching for summer Grobags but after visits to two baby stores - both of which had sold out, I looked at and then bought the Living Textiles version. These sleeping bags are much better priced compared to Grobags. They wash well in the machine, have a central zipper and baby sleeps comfortably.… Read more
Living Textiles make quality baby bedding products and their sleeping bags are no exception. Available in several TOG ratings, their sleeping bag designs are part of matching ranges for linen and nursery decoration. The version I bought lacks the hole on the back of the bag to enable threading through a car seat or pram harness.
