This worked for me. After 3 years and various products, I forked out the $65 for 150 applications. After 1 week, I didn't notice any difference, After 2 weeks the yellow tinge was gone, After 4 weeks the nail was white and starting to grow healthy and reattach to the nail membrane on top of my toe. After 12 weeks I stopped covering the nail with embarrassment. I still have a while to go, but so thankful I bought this in the end. Show details
I had a big toenail with fungus infection and it looked ugly. I tried many different products. It could not be detected by sample sent to laboratory so I’ve had it for about ten years. Went to a podiatrist for unrelated issue and he recommended Loceryl. Have been using for 6 months and it works!! Taking a while for toenail to grow out but half-way… Read more
there. I am very happy to see much progress and relieved that this product is very effective. It makes such a difference to the look of a lady’s foot when wearing sandals and open toe shoes and I highly recommend this product.
It works – I had a fungal nail infection for over 10 years. I was told the nail paints don’t work so I never bothered. Finally decided to use loceryl and after 6 months it’s gone. I didn’t file my nail as my nails aren’t thick, I just applied after shower once a week (alcohol wipe and apply).

First stage – I have had fungus on my two toe nails for the last 10 years, at least. Both of my toe nails would get completely raised and crumbling if I didn’t filed them down every 2 weeks. Several years ago I bought an electric nail drill from ebay to make my job easier and to spare the skin around the nails. That has made the nails look and feel much better… Read more
but hasn’t cure them in any way. In the meantime I have used many products.. mostly vinegar, tea tree oil, coconut oil, bleach.. to name the few.. with no success. Decided to try loceryl and after 4 weeks I see a difference, first time in so many years. I don’t see nail growing out as yet and I’m not even sure that that it ever will grow out healthy as my nails were completely damaged, but this old nail looks at least 50% more normal and to me that’s huge. I gave it 4 starts as I am only at the beginning of my journey but so far it looks promising. Will try to do an update after few months of using it. Please don’t use the files that come in the box as they are too rough and will damage the skin around the nail. Get electric nail drill, you won’t regret it. Make sure you do it on lowest setting and be very gentle. Don’t go crazy with the drill the first time. You can file the nail every day bit by bit at first. I do it 2 times a week but I’ve gotten my nails to the point where they are very thin so I only take away a top layer so the product can get in easier. After I drill the nails, I apply lacquer, wait for it to dry and then apply Canesten on my toes. Good luck to all of us!
Proven to be effective at treating fungal toe nails for me – I have used Loceryl 3 times in the past on my big toes and found it effectively killed off the fungus. I seem to be very susceptible to fungal infection of toe nails whenever I shower in public showers. Despite the instructions that come with the product I have found that Loceryl worked even when the infection went into the bottom part of the… Read more
nail. However, it is a very long process as toe nails grow very slowly and there are many pitfalls. Firstly, start treatment asap as it will spread quickly if you don't intervene. Secondly, the filing of the nail is an important part of the process. A thinner nail from filing allows better penetration, however if you file too much (like I did on one bout of infection) the nail will crack if it gets too thin. Thirdly, avoid getting it on your skin as it will cause discomfort for days and will kill off some of the skin. A tip that a pharmacist gave me, which I use every time now, is to apply Vaseline on the skin surrounding the nail after you have filed the nail and cleaned it with the cleaning pad but before you apply the Loceryl -to reduce the chance of it getting on your skin. I have only given it 4 stars as it is very expensive. There is a cheaper product called Aporyl, which has the same active ingredient. However, I prefer the applicator that comes with Loceryl as I found that using the Aporyl applicator too much of the liquid was applied - and if you apply too much then the nail warps a bit until it grows out. Also, Loceryl offer the service of free additional cleaning pads and files which you will definitely need if you are treating a toe nail for a year. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any effective alternatives to Loceryl or Aporyl. Laser treatment of fungal toenails is advertised heavily but there isn't any scientific proof that it works. One important research paper found that radiation of 280nm UV light would kill off the fungi in a laboratory setting, but 280nm UV light is completely absorbed by toenails so none of the UV light would actually get to the fungi in a real-life situation. The title of that paper is: "An investigation into the inhibitory effect of ultraviolet radiation on Trichophyton rubrum."
I'm giving 5 stars as the product did initially work in the first six months of this year 2020 – I started using on my thumb nail beginning of 2020. In 6 months nail almost grew entirely back , YET 2ND half of this Year from July till now in December, the nail has disintegrated and I only have 1/3 of nail left. I feel the fungus eventually gained immunity? But just recently I was misdiagnosed for many years and this was not a fungus nail I… Read more
had but a Psoriasis Nail (no fungi involved). The product does not work anymore (I later found out because I have not got a fungus nail but a Psoriasis Nail). In all Loceryl did help initially in the first 6 months so I do believe the product is good to a certain extent. Loceryl is for fungus treatment not immunity condition that I have called Psoriasis Nail. That many doctors misdiagnose these two completely different conditions that appear and look the same. For many years I thought it was fungus which mistaken me to use this product. The Loceryl deserves 5 stars as initially for the first six months, helped 60% of my Psoriasis Nail to grow back, which is a immunity condition that Loceryl is not designed to do! I also applied the Loceryl product differently, I did not use the Lidder dipper to apply the lacquer, instead I used a brand new tooth pick as an applicator. I would never use the same toothpick and double dip. A new tooth pick was used when ever I inserted it into the bottle. I was also able to use the saturated tip of the tooth pick and slide it underneath my nail where the fungus grows. I used it to prick the solution underneath my nail. This is why I had success with this product for six months using the same bottle. Now I can understand why this product didn't work after 6 months as I was misdiagnosed for such long time. Please people do research to make sure you do not have a Psoriasis Nail as it is very similar to fungus nail but complete different cause.

Loceryl is the best – I started using Loceryl in January 2023 twice a week as advised by my podiatrist & it’s brilliant! I’m not embarrassed to wear open shoes anymore & although it will take time to completely heal the fungus the results are outstanding! Show details
Impressed so far… – Have only been using this for one month, and my four infected nails turned brown, and I don’t see a huge difference just yet, but my feet however are so much more comfortable in shoes, my toes are much less painful, and this can only mean that the medication is killing the fungal infection. I will definitely keep going with this product, my four… Read more
nails have quite deep rooted infection, so I hope to see some improvement in the discolouration. So far I’m quite impressed with this product
A treatment that actually works on nail fungus – I had one toe nail with fungus deeply under the top half of nail and spreading. Podiatrist recommended Loceryl. I used it for 6 months weekly. I applied nail polish over it and took off each week to reapply the Loceryl. It has worked really well, fungus has gone but I am keeping using for a while, just in case. I've tried a others, one turned out… Read more
to be an online subscription con and had to cancel card. None of these worked but this did. You need to be routine and you need to file right back before applying.

Loceryl No - Emtrix Yes – It may depend on the strain of nail fungus but I used Loceryl for more than a year very dilligently on two fungus infected nails (both left and right foot). Regulary sanding all following instructions to the letter. Result Zero! Nails were almost gone. Then I picked up EMTRIX in Malaysia, used that for a couple of weeks and all fungus gone… Read more
completely. Nails slowly start growing back to normal. Like I said it may not work for everyone but for me this Emtrix brand was the key.
Rubbish waist of money – Absolute rubbish. Used for 3 months almost everyday and my toe is worse than it’s ever been. Absolute gimmick. Had similar problem about 5 years ago and use 6 dollar brush on liquid that worked 10 times better. Don’t but loceryl. Show details
Has not done anything! – I have been applying Loceryl for a year now and no evidence the product does anything. Have been applying it once a week throughout without success. This product is very expensive for not doing anything. Show details

Needs discipline, but works eventually – I had a fungal infection last year where my big toes both had yellow discoloration about half of the nail, but not into the matrix. I applied Loceryl twice a week as directed, and it was a real chore but I persisted. I had tried vinegar and other remedies before, none of which worked. I continued to use Loceryl and after about 9 months cutting away the growth, it has finally gone. So I would say, if you have the discipline this seems to work. Show details

Finally my nail is growing back! – I noticed one of my fingernails was turning yellow and I began losing parts of the nails. I was recommended loceryl from my chemist and after 5 months my nail is finally back! This product is awesome! I'm so happy and relieved. Show details
It doesn't work.... and the applicator spread the fungus – I used Loceryl for months. It didn't clear the fungus, but spread it to other areas of the infected big toe nail and, ultimately to the other nails on the same foot Show details
After 18 months I give up! – I started using Loceryl on my two big toes in September 2019 and am still using it to this day. I have been vigilant with the application, using it twice a week without fail and following the instructions exactly. I have had absolutely no improvement. My nails are now split and just crumble away at the corners where the infection is. I have… Read more
tried many products and thought this would work. Due to my personal experience I cannot recommend this fungal nail product.
Expensive and DOES work but with strict conditions – First of all, Loceryl IS expensive, and you have to almost gulp as you fork out the (around) $80 for the product. This stuff definitely will work to cure your fungal nail infection, but there are several things you MUST know before you start. WHEN LOCERYL DOES WORK: - If the infection does not extend down to the nail bed (base of the nail near the… Read more
cuticle) - If the infection has not resulted in massive heaping up of infected material under the nail - Provided you follow the instructions TO THE LETTER Loceryl will NOT work if you do not pay attention to these facts. So, if you have a fungal infection that comes no more than about 3/4 of the length of the nail, and does not have a massive heaping up of material underneath, you are likely to get a good result. You also need to be aware that this is not easy to use solo: it really helps to have a (very understanding!) second person to help. HOW TO GET A GOOD RESULT WITH LOCERYL: 1) With the abrasive boards provided, or better yet get your own, file the nail overlying the infection as thin as you can. It doesn't matter if you break through, but this might be a bit painful if you get the underlying nail pulp. You want the nail as thin as possible to allow the stuff to penetrate through to the infection 2) Shake the bottle well, apply an even coat and MAKE SURE to clean the applicator stick with an alcohol swab or metho before you put it back in the bottle (you don't want it contaminated) 3) Wait a few minutes for the coating to dry before you put anything on your feet 4) Use it either once a week (mild infection) or twice a week (more severe infection) 5) Be prepared for the long haul: it can take up to a year of using this stuff to get the result you are after.
I personally had a great toe that had a mild infection coming down about a quarter of the way along the toe, and following these instructions for 12 months, I have completely eliminated the fungal infection. So I am one of the lucky ones that have had a good result, but I was religious in following the directions to get it. VERDICT: Definitely expensive, but if your condition meets the criteria and you use it properly, it will work. If it does not, you should probably have a chat to your doctor.
This really worked for me – Used for about 6 months. Read the instructions carefully and also practice good hygiene on your feet. Never dip the spatula back in the bottle without wiping it after each use. Show details
Works well – Product works well for me, continuous use and the sloooow growing out of the damaged nail. Using weekly, three months in and it’s half grown out with healthy nail underneath. Show details
Useless – Absolutely useless product. I used on very mild toe nail fungus for 8 month - no improvement at all. Don't spend your time and money for this expensive and not effective product.
Save your money – Used this religiously for six months, it’s a premium price but you could just file your nails and paint with water to get same result. So annoyed at money I’ve donated to this company. Show details
don't waste your time with loceryl – most of the reviews here have hit the nail on the head, this product is a waste of time and cash. it seemed to work at first but then the fungus just got worse, so i did some research on what works for fungus and this is what I've found out; first, you got to stop eating sugary foods and carbs, because the fungus is living off you and it is not… Read more
just on you like I would have thought second, tea tree oil is the way to go with nail fungus, but here's the catch, you need to use it religiously and I mean every two hours. for six months, even after the fungus has disappeared. if you miss just one day you will be back to square one again from where you started and these two steps seem to be working great for me after having toe fungus for months it is worth noting that my research also suggest walking along the beach in the salt water, haven't tried this one but from what i've read it seems to produce results good luck

Horrible results – The longer I used this the worse my nails looked and they deteriorated very quickly using it. I would not recommend it at all to anyone. My mum also had similar results but I thought I'll give it a try. Show details
Don't waste your valuable time and money – I have suffered from this cruel toenail infection for about 13 years now. It has spread slowly to now leave only two, small nails unaffected. i have tried pretty much everything short of medication, which will be a last resort. A pharmacist recommended this product and I thought the high price indicated value and effectiveness. I was completely… Read more
wrong and should have done some on-the-spot research in the store. Once again I was duped.
This product is nothing short of garbage. it does NOTHING at all to alleviate the fungal infection. In fact with all the filing I believe my condition has worsened. If I could sue these people I would.
So, in short, don't waste your money or the months of hope as you apply this very expensive snake oil.
Brilliant – The trick is that you need to use it for about 3 months.Fungal nail infections normally last 8 to 12 months (if you are lucky!) Follow the directions exactly, file nail ,make sure you sterilise applicator every time you put in solution,Don’t wear nail polish during treatment
money making – I used Loceryl for few yrs. with frustrating result. Very expensive and useless.Yes, discontinue after this big company had made a lot of money from poor people who wanted to get rid of their nail fungal infection. I persisted because of what they promise and because the price is like gold I though it will work.Waste of money. I should have put money in poker machine maybe I won something. This is how bad it was.
Waste of money. Should be taken off the market – I bought Loceryl 3 times. Initially there was a slight improvement, but after I had used all the product up the fungus came back. The last lot of this rubbish I bought I put on every 2nd day. It did nothing. Waste of money.
Cash back promotion – On 2nd March,2017 I purchased Loceryl from Chemist Warehouse on the basis of a cash back promotion by Galderma which reduce.d the price by $10. I completed an application online and received confirmation by email from the company that evening. I was directed to POST my receipt and a copy of their email in time to be received by the company by no… Read more
later than 14/04/2017 with a refund to be made by 14/05/2017. I posted the details as requested on 3/03/2017 which should have been received before the closin date. As of 28/06/ 2017 Ihave not received a refund. I have sent 3 emails seeking advice and not received the courtesy of a reply. One could not be blamed for considering this to be a new type of scam. The lesson is beware of these types of offers as they may only be an inducement to purchase a product.
Bought it 3 times- no result! – I had a fungal infection which spread to all 10 toes when I was a teenager. My mum bought Loceryl 3 times for me and I used it religiously for months. My fungal infection actually got worse. From the age of 13 to the age of 20 I had this infection. Eventually I begged the doctor for oral medication for the infection and it cleared up within 5… Read more
months for my big toenails and only 2-3 months for my smaller toenails and I've never had a problem since.
At $100+, I found Loceryl to be a HUGE waste of money.
Loceryl antifungal worked perfectly – I think you need to be aware that the fungal infection can be variable from person to person. My nail was only infected to about half-way and has almost grown out over about 4 months. I just trim off the infected area each 3 weeks. Also long standing fungal infections are very hard to treat as the fungal spores are all over your house, shoes, hose etc.
Ineffective, waste of money and time – My chemist initially advised against this product and recommended tea tree oil twice weekly instead. He said the new nail growth is affected. I should have listened. However, after two years of not being able to wear nail polish and trying several natural remedies, I decided to give it a go, mostly due to the company promotional material. I have… Read more
been using it twice weekly, exactly as directed for over a year now. The only difference to my nail is that it is no longer thick and flaky, it is very thin. This is due solely to sanding it down twice a week as directed. The area affected is identical in size to when I started. So I am off to the GP to ask for an oral treatment instead.
spred the fungal infection – Poor product, what a cheek charging the price for this totally ineffective product. A chemist advised me to use Tee Tree oil for the treatment of nail fungus which is what I will try now. Loceryl has been applied as directed faithfully and consistently but with NO effect except to worsen the condition. Don't waste your money on buying Loceryl.
Think Twice About Loceryl! – Complete waste of money, time, effort and my big toe toenails are probably worse than before. I have a science degree and have worked with fungicides in a chemical company in the past so I believe I have an idea of the fungus, the problem it causes and how the product is supposed to work. I had used it 50 times, exactly to label directions, over 9… Read more
months before I started to lose faith! After that time I have used it 9 times more at extended intervals rather than the once or twice per week recommendation. I have even bought 2 packs over this time (approx. $100). My large toenails are actually distorted now. I honestly believe the Loceryl affected the growth of the new nails. If I could post pictures I would. Think twice about committing to an expensive Loceryl program for the time it takes the toenails to grow and then finding out you have just wasted money, effort and time.
It worked on my toe! – I would recommend Loceryl because it does a good job on my infected toe. After six months is almost ill. So I know is working very well if it is properly used.
I have tried 2 bottlesLoceryl but no use at all. Very expensive. I would like to have my money back. Show details
