Driver shout out – Shout out to the Lombard’s truck driver who nearly caused a 3 car pile up in Airport West at 1.57pm today. Get a licence and some vision.

If you need it in a week - don't order online – I am keen to decorate our house before the grand final - so ordered items from Lombards 10 days ago. few days. Luckily we were 17 days out from the Grand Final when I ordered! I am not yet even sure of the quality of the product - fingers crossed! People on the phone were polite - but pretty disinterested.

Out of touch – We'd ordered balloons and a few other items for my mothers 90th birthday celebrations but due to the COVID restrictions it needed to be cancelled. We rang them before the event and were advised that we could reschedule or cancel and get a refund once the situation was resolved. we returned the items requesting a refund..........."sorry its after 14 days from the purchase date and there will be no refund ". After requesting a referral to the store manager they agreed to a refund but only very reluctantly. Never again

Worst customer service ever – The staff wasn’t interested in what I wanted to get. Did not ask me why I want the balloons, what kind of balloons, and when I want it. to tell her I don’t need it today before she understood abit of what I came in for. She showed no interest in serving the customer at all. What a shame to the customer service industry!

I can only make comments based on my online/customer service experience as I have never been to one of their stores before. To start off, postage is very very very slow. email saying that my packages had been posted. I had to ring them to get that information. Sometimes I had to ring a few times to get 1 tracking number as I was always told 'I'll call you back'. Not once was I called back. Don't bother about emailing them, you'll get no response. Most of the items are not worth the price and cheaply made. Lucky I paid half price for all of them. Some items I had received were broken, so replacements needed to be sent.. My gosh what a drama that was!! I had waited over a month for a replacement item and still hadn't heard from them, so I rang to find out what was going on. I was told 'oh, that was sent last week' so I asked for a tracking number which I was given. When I checked that tracking number with star track express there was no tracking information. I rang Lombard's back to make sure I wrote down the right number, which I had. I checked the tracking number again the following morning and there was tracking information. From the same afternoon that I rang to find out what's going on!! I cannot stand being lied to!!! If I hadn't rung to enquire, perhaps I would still be waiting. I will absolutely never ever EVER shop online with them again. There was far too much stress, phone calls, emails and a big lie thrown into the mix.
