we love our Trooper

We purchased our Trooper in April 2017 ,not having had any experience with owning a caravan I was really nervous having read all the recent publicity. Well ,all I can say our experience has been exceptional to say the least. From a warranty call back by G&S Chassis to a water gauge malfunction, the staff handled our issues expeditiously and professionally . The quality and workmanship in our van is excellent . We are just getting ready to head off to the Kimberly's and W.A in a few weeks, and we cannot wait.

All I can say is that to date our experience to date has been absolutely fantastic and would recommend LOTUS to any one wishing to purchase a caravan. Keep up the good work Lotus.

lotus freelander

Please also look at reviews on Lotus under *Lotus Freelander" - very interesting if you are looking to buy this brand! We no longer have our van after only 8 months of use.

Biggest mistake of our lives

Bought the lotus trooper brand new had a lot of issues.the lotus has proven to be very unreliable and staff at lotus have been very unhelpful it has taken months and months to rectifie issues.buying a van was a dream come true but lotus caravans quickly turned it into a nightmare.

Lotus Trooper, just that and more

Our 2013 Lotus Trooper is fantastic. We live and travel Austrailia working on cattle stations. So our van has travelled a lot of dirt dice purchse from Caravan World on the Sunshine Coast. In 2014 we took the Trooper to the top of Cape York, no dramas and we had the added addition of luxury.

Highly recommend Lotus

How does the trooper go in dusty conditions? We’re looking at upgrading (from an EcoTourer) and are a little concerned about such things as external speakers and all the grills etc. which look to be exposed? We would like to tackle Oodnadatta track and maybe Cape York.

Hi Geoff,

Sorry, but can't help you out with the Trooper as we had a Freelander and we only stayed on bitumen.
