Sleep bag – The Love to Dream bag is great for transitioning baby from swaddling to a position that frees up babies arms. Ours is only thin a Tog 1.0 but the layers surely add up. Not practical, waste of money Swaddle up 50/50 2.5 TOG Bamboo inbuilt – The outer material is premium, soft and long-lasting. Sewing technique is very professional. can’t breath well. Besides bamboo is not soft. Especially the upper part is just a thin cotton layer, which makes the baby slide down a bit from his chest. This can cause reflux and is really frustrating. I have to put a towel under his upper back to make his spine straight. Besides his feet are not warm in the bag. I think swaddle transition is just a waste of money as you can use it for a very short time before changing to another sleep suit/ bag with more room and freedom.

Very handy – I have been using this for my twins since they started to roll and were no longer able to use an original love to dream swaddle (as they needed their arms free). They seem to like it, and it provides a good way to transition to sleeping without being fully swaddled. different size. I think their great quality and super easy to use and their great for quick nappy changes which is a life saver when you have twins! They could make the price a little cheaper as we have to buy a new one pretty often because they are gaining weight so quickly so price could be better but they are definitely worth it. 100% recommend.

Love to dream – Loved using the love to dream 50:50 for both my kids. Light weight. Easy to remove arms when they were both old enough. On cooler nights would just put them in long sleeves outfits. Found using in the car a bit difficult. I was never good at getting the buckle in and out and would usually end up waking them up if they were asleep. But otherwise I am so happy with this product.

Great but probably didn't need it – Loved the 50/50 because it was so comfortable looking and allowed a transition to arms free. So I spent $100 and bought two! Especially as the original Swaddle ups were great. However it turns out that my baby preferred being completely arms free or completely arms in so I didn't really need this product. Using it as an arms free bag is fine but due to the length I wasn't able to use it for long.

The perfect follow on from the (fantastic!) original love to dream swaddle – I first purchased an original (not 50/50) Love to Dream (LTD) swaddle when our little girl was about 4 weeks old. couldn't leave her swaddled and transfer her into the car or pram. She used the original LTD swaddle until she grew out of the medium size, and we then transferred her into the 50/50 in the large size.

Just like the original LTD swaddle, the 50/50 is fantastic. Keeps arms in a natural upright position, allows bub to suck on hands through the fabric to self sooth, and protects skin on the hand from sores due to excess sucking and moisture. I thought having the option to have one arm out at a time would be great when the time came to transition bub out of a swaddle and into a sleeping bag... For us, it wasn't really helpful as having just the one arm out seemed to confuse her. We ended up going cold turkey, straight into the sleeping bag and she was fine. However, I'm still really glad I had the option of a more gradual transfer with the 50/50, even though we didn't need it. The Large size is very generous which is fantastic, as the other day, all the sleeping bags were dirty/wet/drying (you know how it is sometimes!) and I fished out the LTD 50/50, took the sleeves off and used it as a sleeping bad - on my 9.5kg 10month old!! She slept fine.

Like the original LTD swaddle, it also takes a while to dry, especially around the seam which is quite thick (cannot be tumble dried), however, I was living in a cold climate when used the LTD 50/50, and had to dry things inside on a clothes horse. This would not be an issue if you lived in a warmer climate. I solved this by having 3 swaddles of each size, so that I would always have one clean and ready to use while one was in the wash and another was drying.

The 50/50 is now safely stored away until if/when we have another little one, and I know it will last through many more children as the fabric and stitching are of such a high quality.

I really love all the LTD products I have used. They have (quite literally) been lifesavers! I had a very unsettled baby who refused sleep on a daily basis, and the LTD made life that little bit better by helping her feel more safe, secure and comfortable.

Don't hesitate before buying anything from LTD. It will be money well spent. The perfect follow on from the original LTD swaddle UP, with the added benefit of being able to transfer bub gently to sleeping unswaddled.

'wings' when they are learning to sleep unwrapped so you can do it one arm at a time. practicality, design, light weight, seatbelt buckle hole in the back. Gets stained on the wing part as they usually try to put their hands in their mouth, but it's easily cleaned.
