Do NOT recommend! – When communicating via email, the company seemed mostly helpful. what we required. On return day at 8am I phoned to advise that we would be there at 9am as scheduled and to confirm drop off. The man on the phone was rude and abrupt and said he could not take us to the airport anymore. I explained this had been pre arranged and he returned with he was the only one there, there is a $40 fee and it was not possible we would need to arrange it ourselves. I ended the phone call and called back 5 minutes later to see if there was any option as we had 4 children in the car, youngest being 6 months old. He agreed to take us and the phone call ended. When we arrived at 9am we were told it was not possible. The man at the desk was rude and lied that he explained when we collected the car it was not possible and that he ‘refunded’ us the $40 fee when we paid and collected the car. I showed him all the communication via email and the quote which 1. Agrees to drop us at the airport and 2. Mentioned no where of a airport shuttle fee. After a long heated discussion he demanded we go wait in the hire car. After 15 minutes he came out, got directly in the drivers seat and told us we would take us. It was extremely awkward and on several occasions the driving was not safe. We all exited the car and he drove off. Once in the airport I realised I never arranged return of the $250 bond for the vehicle so I emailed stating if they could let me know if the return of the bond could be arranged. I missed a call from Lc rentals and on returning the call they stated they were trying to charge my credit card for the amount of the rental! Another $860! What a joke! I had several back and forth stating we had already paid before we collected the vehicle and the caller demanded I screenshot my bank statement and send proof. I’ve never been so baffled and upset at such a company. Once I sent an screenshot of the transaction via email I rang to ask if they would now be returning my bond. I was told once they go through their transactions they would authorise it. I can’t believe that they tried to charge my card twice. I believe these people are scammers. Their office is down a side street and all their hire cars are parked on the street. Very disorganised and EXTREMELY rude. Absolutely do not recommend.

Excellent vehicle booked within minutes – I did not have a car hire booking leading 5 mins before my flight and I managed to stumble across L& C Car Rentals. Could not be happier with the car given to me. Highly recommend and the price was $300 cheaper then other companies plus an extra 100 km per day more than there competitors. Show details

Car broken down! Time wasted! – - car wasn't checked from 1 customer to the next customer. - car wasn't cleaned & sanitised from previous customer. you. Call NRMA your self" The problem is the time! Had they have a good car at the beginning, it wouldnt have to happened. Lucky we met stranger that understand about mechanic. Otherwise we would have stayed in remote area for indefenitely. - the tyre pressure of the car is not right. - the both door handle of the car not even proper. - safety is their last priority. The car fall into pieces, really not rent-able. - I booked the car at 8.00 AM. The staff (Lava) was there late at 8.08 AM. Busy with another phone call aswell, and I've finally got the car key at 8.35AM. And after 2 days (my booking period), he rang me sharp 8AM rudely asked me where I am. I said "I got the car 8.35, so i returned it 8.35. I will drive there safely, I dont want any accident to happen" He replied "oh do you want accident to happen?" Great Customer Service!! - I asked another staff there i wanted to talk to the boss and escalate this. He refuse & seems like cover each other arses :) good on them.

Pretty Decent Offering – They offered a late model car at a competitive price, decent customer service although they were a bit pushy at times, nothing to complain about really, market prices for refueling ETC, had to wait a couple of days for the deposit to be returned, Everything worked out pretty well.

It was such a bad experience, they didn’t even care and just Drove off saying we have have to drop this car. They are very very worst , don’t ever go there
