The truck, small size, I hired was in good condition and ran well, was economical and great to drive. It was perfect for the job of moving my daughter's household items. The hiring process was very easy and was good value. The communication by text messages throughout was very good. I would definitely recommend this company for any moving needs. Thank you. Attendant at OTR took 20 minutes to find the key and power cable then the winch was broken and didn't lock so the car fell off the trailer. Very unhappy with my experience hiring with Move Yourself.
The trailer was fine, but not fit for purpose. It would be good if the load capacity is displayed as well. I ended up having to hire another one (from another supplier). The customer service was good, I had to extend the hire time in order to get the other trailer back and the process was easy. What would also be helpful would be to have one way hire Show details · 1

Really happy with the process from start to finish - had an issue with lights and the crew sorted me out with a replacement trailer within 20 minutes. It happens - absolutely no complaints and highly recommend this service. I booked a car trailer for $151 a day, chose no insurance checked my bank and was charged $172. Called haul who owns move yourself and the woman argues it was my fault. I will never recommend or use haul or move yourself again. Show details

Easy to rent online. However the instore experience has recently changed to a QR code vs the touch screen in store. Trailer itself was in good condition, tyres needed some air but nothing that couldn’t be sorted at the servo. Competitive prices compared to other places. Show details
Great service, pricing fits perfectly. I was running late to drop the trailer off due to an accident. Customer service was so helpful and charged a reasonable late fee not some other companies. Great service will use again

Went to petrol station at 850am for a 9am pick up. Went through everything as instructed on my phone. The printer on the machine didn’t work. With the printer not working, I couldn’t get the keys to the Ute. The BP station I was at had some sort of wheel of fortune event on and it was crazy busy. it never told me I needed a printed piece of paper, just to go to staff behind desk to get the keys. Ended up getting the manager and he wasn’t sure either, and rang up the company to ask them. The. I had to fill out all the information again, before I could get the keys. Got the Ute around 930am which meant I was late and cost me more money. When I got back around 1230, my printed receipts from the pick up were hanging out the machine. Followed instructions to do the drop off and guess what, printer not working again. Same manager (who was really helpful by the way and the reason I wasn’t even later than I was in the morning) said he would ring up again and confirm the drop off. I’m all for technology, and it’s a good idea, but when it goes wrong like it did, it made me late and cost me money. Maybe have someone go around and check the machines from time to time. To top it off, I’m still waiting for the bond to come back.

do – only after asking her twice did I find out she had a QR code I could scan behind the counter. After scanning and filling out the details for the booking TWICE, the booking still wasn't coming up on the attendant's tablet and they couldn't give me the keys to take the trailer until it came up as booked in. After waiting on the phone for ~20 minutes on hold, I had to manually fill out the on-boarding process again on their website while being talked through it on the phone. The actual trailer was fine once I actually got it – no issues and came as expected, returning was much more straight forward. Even if the process is as it should be, I wouldn't use this service again, as there are too many variables to guarantee I can organise it during a certain timeframe, and not having anyone around who actually knows what's going on wasn't reassuring. Good in concept, bad in execution.

Easy hire experience. And the call centre was very helpful when I called with a booking query. The only negative was being woken up at 5.15am by a text message asking me to do this review - highly annoying for an on call worker who has to leave their phone on at night!
