Beware of this company at all costs – The people at this place apart from the accounts lady don't speak audible English, very very hard to explain what you want, the accounts lady was able to help me order the lamps and pay for them and organize there courier, what l found out was they use a courier who doesn't deliver to my address so they pass it on to another courier who also can't speak very good English, the parcel was taking it's time to get here so l rang lamp replacements and talked to the manager who said not his problem, it's now a third parties problem, l said to him l paid you for the products and the courier , you have my money l need the goods he was so rude and kept saying not his problem. Disgraceful
LRA helps with the LED downlight replacement – Most apartments constructed after 2015 in Perth includes the LED downlights. These are modern and nice. And our apartment, bought of the plan and settled in November 2018 included about 30 units of the LED lamps with replaceable 50 mm internal module/globe. Last year, after only 5 yrs of use, these lights started to fail although their expected life is 30,000 hrs.
And here we faced a dilemma, how to replace the failing standard modules of 50 mm diameter as envisaged by designers of the Perlite?
Although such replacement modules are available in shops located at the Eastern Seaboard, here in Perth are not available. It is a shame that local shops have commercial disinterest in supplying the replaceable parts and many distributors like the Pierlite are abandoning their customer in the service area.
After unsuccessful visits to the Bunnings, the Harvey Norman and the Beacons, I visited the Lamp Replacement LRA shop at Osborne Park, WA.
Although they also couldn't help with the replaceable module, they to my surprise assisted with finding a similar look but modern LED lamp suitable for replacing the failed Pierlite lamp (see photo 1 & 2).
In result I have purchased 3 new modern whole lamps, type "CLA COMET02/04 - 10W LED Tri-Colour Centre Tilt Downlight IP20" (see 3rd photo) for a bathroom and in this way replaced the failed unit in the kitchen and also created two spares for future replacement.
I am very grateful for assistance in the LRA shop and therefore would highly recommend it to customers requiring LED lamp replacement.
