High price but poor qualityA manager from this company arrived, unannounced, on my doorstep early one morning and offered to fix the problems and give me a 3 month plant warranty if I changed my google review, in between gloating about his tan from his recent family holiday in Thailand.
My google review was partly because they would not honour their original 3 month warranty. Do you think they would honour the extended 3 month warranty?

Some “goodwill” plants were put in without reticulation. No wonder there is no plant warranty past the initial 3 month warranty. The dripper lines do not work in some areas, and I have no instructions on how to fix them. The idea is that customers call back Lukes Landscaping to fix the retic. My dead front lawn on the front garden was caused by a car driving over the pop-up sprinkler. The manager told me that is what was going to happen because I had lawn near driveways and the verge, and I needed to put in concrete surrounds around my pop-up sprinklers. I had already paid for a full service, and the manager had just told me that he prided himself on his company going the extra mile. Presumably the extra mile is to tell me what added extras I need to pay for after the job is completed. Phil did have the recalcitrant sprinter changed out and a concrete surround in place on that one sprinkler – but the sprinkler was installed above the level of the concrete surround so the problem has happened again. Also, I learnt to communicate with Lukes Landscaping via written correspondence. I had asked specifically for red and white flowering plants, and amended the revised plant guide when this still wasn’t done. Fortunately, I sent my colour requirements via email. Yet, purple and yellow flowers have appeared on my plants. When I sent photos, Phil offered to replace the wrong plants if I paid for the new ones. There is no 3 month warranty on the new plants. Good business move on their part, because I think they damaged the retic when they put in the replacement plants. When a team member was at my house to fix the original problem of wrong and ill plants, and confronted with the problem of a garden hose leaking at the tap, he asked for duct tape to fix it. Afterwards, I fixed the problem myself by cutting 1cm off the hose and reattaching it to the tap. I keep looking around for the hidden camera because I think that I am on the set of some pranking comedy show. Except that I paid very dearly for this service. I am going to have to get someone else in to fix the problems. I wonder if Mr Bean is available.
They ignored meI have tried on three successive days to get Lukes Landscaping to work on my retic. They are not replying to phone messages and it seems that they are no longer interested in small jobs only expensive landscaping and design. After many years of using them I have now found another Company.
Council infringement before cleanup donrA photograph of supposedly completed work was given to the client as evidence for the requirement for the Account to be paid
However the photo didn't show a mess that Lukes Landscaping was to clean up as part of the contract but would not do so until the council issued an infringement notice against them.
The mess was actually soil and mulch the client had paid to have put on the garden but it was later revealed that Luke's Landscaping had apparently reneiged on the depth of the soil that they dug out and replaced

Other problems such as reticulation not working and wrong or missing or dead plants can only be resolved by going to the government department which handles consumer complaints This company excels in ghosting its clients Their product would be very good if they put the same effort into delivering on their contract .
Front Garden RenovationWe've just had our front garden landscaped by this company and couldn't be happier. From our early interactions with the staff the journey has been an enjoyable one and we are looking forward to seeing our plants in flower in the spring. Well done and thank you.
Low quality for a high priceThey sub contract and just hope you don’t notice the low quality work.
So many issues that caused so much stress - our lawn is still uneven with dips feels like you’ll twist your ankle walking in it, and has all our old grass coming through. Patches of turf that look completely different and unhealthy - told after a few mows will be all good. Absolutely not the case. We had them come back to fix issues and have the opportunity to actually deliver a quality job for the high price we paid, but it’s still not a good job.
If you want a sprinkler fixed - maybe hire these guys
If you want landscaping- I would not recommend

Reticulation RepairReticulation repair carried out on agreed date with 30 min notice prior to arriving. Lawn was removed and neatly replaced. Installer took the time to check functionality and installed battery I didn’t know about. We will use Luke’s Landscaping in future.
