The Luxdream 100mm – Im trialing the "Luxdream 100mm Topper" on a New Medium Sealy Posturepedic Hudson Mattress, If you are wanting to put one on a sagging Mattress , I wouldn't recommend it, as the mattress is already faulty and the topper wont fix it. Buy a new Sealy Posturepedic and choose the comfort level you like. However if you want a more plush mattress for winter it seems to work well ( do not use with an electric blanket as its memory foam and not a healthy thing to do , if you like a warm bed get an electric throw blanket put it on top of the doona and remove it when going to bed ) when the warmer weather comes you can always remove the topper for better ventilation of the mattress if you are a hot sleeper .

So depending on brand what mattress you have or buy or If you have lower backache you wont go wrong with a Sealy Posturepedic. Worth the extra money. If you are flush with cash get a "Makin Mattresses Bellissimo" and If your mattress is between 1-7 years old try a Topper for added comfortif the mattress is any older than that , start saving for a new one. ( thats just my thoughts )

So far ok – So far so good, but agree with one other review below that it does form dent in middle which doesn't go away , only had it for about 5 or 6 weeks and I turn it every 2 weeks, still the middle dent. Hope it doesn't get worse.

Purchased in at eBay for $199.

A bit disappointed – Due to some neck and back issues I bought this Gel Memory Foam Topper about 2 and a half years ago. At first it felt really nice and comfortable and I slept a little better with less hip and back pain. It never was quite right for my neck though so I tried with several different pillows. But very recently I started waking up with more severe neck, back and hip pain again and noticed that the topper had formed a dent in the centre even if I am not tall and not heavy plus I rotated the topper regularly when changing the linen, hoping to avoid such a dent. Obviously it did not work which means the quality of the foam is not good enough. The sides of the topper feel still ok but I keep rolling back into the dent when I try to sleep more on the side of my bed. Therefore I am disappointed that even for the little higher price of this topper I still have to find a new topper of better quality.

Does not suit everyone – I had a good bed but thought will try this product might improve my quality of sleep but after three weeks, caused injury to my lower back. Never had back problems before and prior to using this product. The supplier said there is no defect on the product. Although there is no visual manufacturing defect the product caused injury to the user, first four days I could not walk. The foam topper had since been removed then recovery improved onto 3rd week now. The product does not suit everyone, body is moulded in to the foam causing difficulty in turning and getting out of bed therefore straining the back. It may suit lighter sleepers, I am 96 kgs heavy. Toppers come in one foam profile. Mattresses come in 4 variants: soft, medium, firm and super-firm because every sleeper is different. Recommend caution in buying mattress toppers. Also the seller does not accept return for hygiene reasons nor money refunded. No "warning" for non-return. Better off investing in a good bed!
