Do not buy! Does not honor satisfaction guarantee and will NOT respond – After about 30 days the mattress sagged. Try and try again and NO response from them. Terrible mattress! Do not buy. Do not honor returns or reply – This mattress was fine for the first week or two, but soon after I stared getting severe back pain. BEWARE: Poor mattress, company does NOT honor 100-day trial – I was initially pleased with my purchase, but after two months the mattress began to lose its support and springiness (and very unevenly), leading to soreness and stiff necks in the morning. contacted Luxi countless times over the course of 3 MONTHS to try to return the mattress, and every time I reached out, they replied ONCE and never followed up. This all culminated in the CEO himself, David Farley, contacting me ONCE and then ignoring all replies.

It is not hard to find complaints about Luxi and its refusal to refund customers who return their mattresses, which I saw for myself when filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

This is a shady company, and I wouldn’t recommend giving them your money even if they did make good mattresses (which they don’t).

Mattress wasn't for us company that's the problem – Mattress was too soft for us. Unfortunately this is not why I am giving it a low score it's the communication! I have been trying to return this mattress for over a month and sent over 20 emails no response! comfortable, all levels of firmness are noticeably different and supportive.

Negatives:

- The 'edge support' design seems to create a slightly firmer central area which is a pity for those who like to sleep right in the middle of the mattress.

- Off-gassing seems quite extensive and there is a mildly noticeable smell, even after 10 days.

- We received a mattress with a defective zipper (track missing tooth on 1 side which made it extremely difficult to open/close smoothly and zipper actually came off track completely); for a RRP$839 double mattress, the flimsy plastic material choice for the zipper comes across as cheap

- Customer service experience has been very poor post-sale; zipper problem still not addressed after 11 days and multiple follow-up emails (there is no phone support, only voicemail) despite initial response from the Luxi Team that it was passed onto the Operations Director and they would be in touch 'soon', then 4 business days of radio silence, another reminder email and subsequent response the issue would be resolved in '48 hours', another reminder email after 72 hours and latest response of 'waiting for word from our manufacturer' with promises of resolution 'asap'.

Overall, while we like the mattress itself the zipper is a let down and prohibits full use of the adjustability of firmness. After 11 days and multiple followups, we are still stuck with a defective item and no resolution of this problem. The Luxisleep Australia website now displays no information excepting a contact email which does not inspire confidence. So word of warning to those considering this mattress-in-a-box that this has not been a good experience thus far!!

Edit: After 2 weeks, we received a full replacement mattress free of charge.

This has to be the best mattress on the market by far!!!!!!! – The Luxi mattress is Amazing. like sleeping on a cloud, my partner and I suffer from bad backs and the Luxi mattress exceded our expectations beyond beleif, Easier to get out of bed in the morning and not as much pain,gives us all the support we need. Excellent comfortable mattress – Compared to my previous mattress, this mattress is a significantly more comfortable one. My partner and I especially like the adjustable firmness level, myself preferring soft whereas she prefers medium. Delivery was very timely and the process of unfolding the mattress also very easy. soft is amazing as well if you are more of a side sleeper. Havejt tried firm but it still is softer then a very firm i would say.

Only negative about the process is luxi delivery which isnt there fault. Allied transport are just very ordinary. Took them 2 weeks to delivertly 30km which i cant understand but the wait is worth it! Do not hesitate!

A great find – Had this mattress for a few good months now, best sleeps since. Am 70kg guy who suffers from lower back and shoulder aches from sports. haven't had a problem with heat, so guessing the bed does well for heat management for a memory foam mattress.

Really recommend this, especially when you suffer from aching joins.

We kept it for 2 months and my body never adjusted to it, I was tossing & turning every nights and every morning I was waking up with terrible pains in my back. My wife was ok (not fine, not great, just OK) with it but we do not sleep the same as she is a stomach sleeper while I am a side sleeper and my body was not sinking at all in it (I weight 70kgs).

After that we had to order another mattress and were quite reluctant to order online again, still I had a look at all the mattress review website (Sleepopolis / Sleep Sherpa / Mattress Clarity...) and they were all saying great things about the Luxi mattress. On top of that what really convinced me is the fact that you have 3 firmness: soft / medium and firm. So I thought that we had more chances of liking one feel out of 3 rather than ordering a new mattress with only 1 firmness (I REALLY didn’t want another Koala fail). So we ordered the Luxi mattress and well... I LOVE IT!!! This mattress is super comfortable and after only 2 nights all my back pains were gone! Having a split in the middle, which surprisingly we do not feel at all, is a very good idea as we have different settings (I sleep on the medium and my wife on the firm side). Sure the mattress is a bit more expensive than the Koala one but in terms of quality it's really day and night! To sum-up and after having slept on our Luxi for now 4 months, we really REALLY recommend it, it nicely contours your body, is incredibly comfortable and with 3 firmness options it’s almost sure that you’ll end liking one of them.

This is where the microcloud mattress topper comes into the picture. A company that has been selling to five star hotels and resorts throughout Australia. It is truly a phenomenal mattress topper that transforms any mattress into a plush feeling Heaven that you Sink Into.

It turned my Luxi mattress from a comfortable memory foam mattress into something so comfortable words can't describe. I guess a way I could explain is that I tried the most expensive mattresses in the bedding shop and they didn't come to the comfort level of the luxi with the microcloud topper. it is an experience just to lay on it every night.

Maybe some people prefer a firmer Less plush feel which in that case go for it and by the luxi. It will suit anyone either way. You can just buy the topper later if you wish.

memory foam pod setting the best, though the medium firmness is also very comfortable. I have never liked a firm mattress so I haven't even tried it, however it is great to know it is there. I found the entire process from my initial enquiry, to ordering, to delivery and even a follow up phone call to see how I have been sleeping to be outstanding service, absolutely faultless. It is great to know this company backs up its product with a 100 night in home trial, though I know I do not need it...there is no way they are getting the mattress back! who sleep differently. As an engineer, I'm impressed how it simply delivers a way to customise and control the level of firmness for me and my partner. It's quite genius! I love the medium setting, while she prefers the softer feel. It makes me feel better knowing she is having a better nights sleep than previously. As the saying goes - 'happy wife, happy life'.

hotter than normal laying on it. Not recommended for warm-bodied people. At the moment I'm not enjoying sleeping on my Luxi Mattress at all. Maybe we're just not suited to this type of foam bed. After four months laying on this mattress, I'm still not used to it.

It's a unique mattress, haven't seen this before in Australia - worth its value – The mattress is something unique and you can easily flip parts of it and make it firm in one side and soft in the second half of it.
