Roast Chicken is sensational. Absolutely delicious and so much better than the animal alternative. I just sear it in a cast iron pot but would be great in sandwiches, soups etc Show details
Shredded mozarella does not melt- it just burns and becomes like crispy french fries on top of the pizza. The pack says it is perfect for pizza and pasta and that it melts- this is definitely not true. Also lacks any cheese flavour. Would not purchase again!
0 stars. Absolutely disgusting. Never had anything so awful )the roast chicken). Don't waste your money. Can't believe this even made it to market. Their product testers need sacking!
Found a worm in the Meat-Free Deli Style PEPPERONI. Stuck a finger down my throat to make myself throw up because I was so freaked out. They offered me a $10 gift voucher. Never touching their processed food again.
Made with plants: Meat-free Roast Chicken. Wish i could give this 0 stars, absolutely disgusting would not recommend. Opened the package smelt gross. Cooked it, took one bite and spat it out, also has weird aftertaste.
Absolutely disgusting – Their roast chicken alternative is absolutely foul. Couldn't even finish one bite. Threw everything out. Will never try again
Just horrible. Threw it away. Waste of money – Parmesan. Tastes like salty plastic. Why would anyone eat this. Surely there is better vegan cheese.
Pepperoni full of mould – Latest purchase was full of mould. This review is for the lack of service for the company who didn't want to refund me. They said go back to WW and get a refund. When I explained that I'm rural and will take me 45mins to drive to nearest WW they just ignored me. They could've just sent a small voucher in the post to shut me up. Usually when… Read more
there's mould it means 1 of 2 things - cold chain was broken or contamination. I have a lot of problems with mouldy vegan products lately.
Doesn’t melt and who puts MSG in Cheese!! – I bought the grated Mozzarella and the sliced cheddar. I never in my wildest thought to look at the ingredients for the flavour enhancer 621 which is MSG and I am very allergic to it. I made a home made pizza and sprinkled it with the mozzarella. The mozzarella didn’t melt and went crunchy and burnt on the ends. I couldn’t eat it anyway because as… Read more
soon as I took one bite I could taste the MSG and so looked on the package to yes find they use it. Unbelievable in these times to be using it. Maybe they should find someone who can make dairy free taste good without using MSG!! I’m very disappointed
Best facon – After trying countless ‘fake bacon’ products during my 10+ years of being vego - this is the greatest. Crisps up nicely if cooked properly and the flavour is unreal. I dare say it’s the greatest vegan/vego product in stores but it isn’t cheap!
Best vegan options available! – Hubby and I are obsessed with the cheese, mayo and the thickened cream. I have been vegan for almost 5 years and I have never found a dairy free cheese this tasty until now! Thanks for making such great products.
The bacon is great, ready meals - terrible – I don’t know how it’s possible to make bangers and mash gross, but they have managed it. I don’t know why it’s so difficult to get this right - Beyond Sausage, Linda McCartney ranges have mastered vegan sausages - I don’t know what the Made with Plants one is made of but it tastes weird. That said, the bacon they do is spot on - absolutely love it - it’s the best on the market.
Dairy free Mozzarella, the best yet – This is by far and away the best vegan cheese I've had. No horrible vegan smell or taste like so many other cheeses. I havent tried any of their other products but the mozzarella is an easy 5 stars.

Made with Plants Bacon is AWFUL – Made with Plants Bacon is not just poor its disgusting. It doesn't taste at all like bacon, in fact its pretty tasteless; the texture is slimy and unpleasant. It was so bad I couldn't eat it and threw away the whole pack. A waste of money and bad experience
Extremely disappointing – I bought the bangers and mash meal. The disappointment started immediately. It was impossible to remove the label from the packaging before microwaving as instructed. The smell whilst it was cooking should have told me all I needed to know about what to expect, it was very unpleasant. The taste matched the smell and I only managed two mouthfuls before I had to stop. I am a fan of meat free options but I won’t be buying this product again.
Terrible – Purchased made with plants original cream cheese. The worst dairy free product i have ever purchased. Dosnt taste anything like cream cheese. So very disappointing. I'm so surprised that Woolworths would agree to sell this product. Its actually very unpleasant. A massive waste of money Show details
Terrible – I was in Woolworths and I thought I was buying real butter chicken. It should not say chicken on the pack when there is no chicken. Absolutely awful and I paid $9.00
Don't think the price justifies the quality of the food – I think there are better ready to eat meals out there, these to my opinion are just average and doesn't justify the price tag, don't think I will ever buy them again
Love em! – These ready meals are great. I like the meatball meal and the bangers and mash ;) high in protein and not too carb heavy. Good for lunch on gym training days. Good vego alternative to popular dishes.
The best of the best! – I've been vegan for over 3 years now. I have tried many animal flesh-free alternatives and this one is hands down the best. The plant based mince is better than beyond beef and the ready made meals that I have tried are delicious. The cream cheeses that I've tried are good also, but not my personal favorite. I cannot wait to try more products as Made With Plants come expands. 12/10 would recommend!
Meat-free Butter Chicken - appalling – Oh dear, I feel quite sick after attempting to eat this. Firstly, the rice was totally tasteless, but that ended up being the highlight of the meal. The 'butter chicken' pieces were rubbery and really quite unpleasant tasting. I've been vegetarian for over 25 years and this was one of the worst things I've eaten.
Bad!! – I eat very little meat and am mostly vegetarian, and I purchased the Meatball in Mushroom Sauce with Mash with excitement. I was hugely letdown. There was absolutely nothing tasty at all about it, in fact, it had a very strange, sickly taste. I’m so disappointed. It’s very expensive with no good outcome. Show details
Worst products on the shelf! – Worst meat alternative on the market. Tried their new products and "improved" products. The bacon burnt so easily (barely any fat) and it looked like thick spam. The ready meals just as bad - cheap soy mock meat replica which is extremely processed (so much soy) and the sauce looks just as artificial. Would not recommend this brand at all!
Veggie Yuck Muck – I'm not anti vegetarian - but I tried this stuff and found it wanting - it wanted tossing in the bin. Taste and smell of overbearing spice in the rice, probably cinnamon, by the bucketload. Sauce is passable but not enough to stop the meal being dry. "Meat"? is strips of tasteless rubbery tofu, or something similar. Overall, it's awful.… Read more
Plant-based meat is an oxymoron - it is not meat and doesn't taste like meat. calling it meat is a practice that should be outlawed.
December 24th 2019 Update: An improvement but don't start cheering.
Had to give them a fair go, so I tried Meatballs & Mash. Meatballs - I knew that was a lie from the start. Meat is MEAT, people, not plants! You should be in court over this travesty. As to the food: if I was in Auschwitz I'd have loved it. But I'm not that desperate, and I'll never put myself to this test again. I'll give them 6/10 for the mash, which tried desperately hard to disguise the taste of the garbage they had the gall to call meat. You won't die eating this stuff, but you'll wish you would so you never had to taste it again. Do yourself a favour and try real food.
