Have had nothing but issues with this organisation through doing my Cert III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I had to drop out of my diploma as I was not given any help and with emails would take 1-3 months for a response. I would not recommend doing training through MADEC!

Extremely Disappointed with MADEC Services – I am thoroughly disappointed with the services provided by MADEC. Rather than offering support to workers and employers, MADEC seems more focused on exploiting government funds and harassing businesses. They appear to target labor hire companies, demanding detailed information about workers under the threat of jeopardizing contracts with host… Read more

employers. This behavior is nothing short of bullying and creates unnecessary stress for businesses trying to operate ethically.

MADEC's claim to assist with VEVO checks is misleading since any employer can perform these checks independently. Their persistent demands for payslips under the guise of compliance with government requirements feel like a scam to siphon funds rather than a genuine service. If there were an option for a negative rating, MADEC would undoubtedly deserve it.

Organizations like MADEC should not exist. Their actions are a disgrace to Australia, reflecting poorly on how government funds can be misused. I urge others to be cautious and reconsider before engaging with their services.

Absolutely Terrible – Don't give a s**t about your mental health or well-being. They only do what they are told to do. The main person there and the manager are terrible people. Super rude and care the least about people. You could ask for help with things for years and get no where with them.

Bullying manager, terrible place to work – Patronising, rude, nasty manager. One of the worst experiences of my life. Very disappointed.

Absolutely joke! – Signed up for agmove, did all the paperwork and jumped thru all the hoops, to find out that on their end they entered the wrong dates so that I was not eligible to recieve all my money back, and now they have wiped their hands of it and won't talk to me to try to fix it, it's apparently not their problem anymore!

No communication and worthless. Only wanting the support. Don’t consider. Will lie to keep clients – Am fully trained to help disability and not considering nor recommending. It’s not helping clients it’s stealing them

Loss of Self Worth – I can share both sides of this company as a job seeker and also as an employee. I would strongly advice anyone to NOT use MADEC either as a Job Provider or to be employed there either. I was treated with the most disgusting human decency ever. This company treats employees as if they are just a number. The way I was treated by this company was… Read more

nothing short of horrible. narcissistic and no common decency or respect!! I am happy to reply to anyone who wishes to contact me regarding my experience with this company. I hope nobody from whatever walk of life you come from is ever treated as poorly as I was. I strongly believe this company shouldn't be functioning as a Job Provider for people who are looking for employment. Unfortunately even though this company says they are non for profit I can assure you they can not be held accountable for there horrible actions as they are a large corporation. I am happy to converse with anyone wishing to discuss my review. And I strongly stand behind my review. I will not be treated as I was and not review MADEC for the way I was treated. I am very passionate about nobody experiencing the loss of faith in finding employment, the devastation of being treated this way and the loss of self worth I experienced at the Albury branch by the Manager and the other higher management. Having worked as an employment job provider before I can assure you helping people find work and building their self worth and finding them training, understanding that they are low in self esteem at that time being as positive as you can and helping them to gain employment is very rewarding I did not find any of this at MADEC. We live in unprecedented times with Covid19 and many people are very stressed over finding employment and nobody deserves to be treated the way I was.

Disappointed – I was given a job placement in an unsafe environment, asked to operate a machine that I was not licensed for ,or competent on , I refused and called Madec to inform worksafe as people’s lives were at risk , and left the site , Then the employer called them and said I had only attended for one day and left , I told Madec I had bank statements… Read more

proving that I had been paid for two weeks employment. But they gave Centrelink false information, And I was cut off , They never called worksafe , and put more people in placement at a site that was totally unsafe . Do not use this currupt organisation.

Does not provide jobs – I expect a Job Provider to provide jobs for me to apply to. I go in to MADEC every couple of weeks and the "case manager" (because apparently I'm a case and not just someone looking for work) sits me down and proceeds to ask me how I am, how have the last couple of weeks been, what am I up to etc, etc. Not once in 5 months has she said, "I've got… Read more

a position you can apply for". I'm not there to have a social visit, I don't want to discuss my life. Just give me job openings. Isn't that what a Job Provider is meant to be doing? Absolutely ridiculous and the people who complain about the unemployed should complain about how the government is wasting millions of dollars on useless job agencies.

It is difficult to write anything positive about this job services Australia, provider – If I were given the task of reviewing the performance of this particular JSA, I would only need a piece of cardboard and a nice thick, black texta. I would write on the piece of cardboard in big letters, your sacked! Please return all company items, including your ID card, and leave the building immediately. This would be the only communication I… Read more

would have with staff as I was performance reviewing them. A lazier, more hostile, negative and non-outcomes focused group of employees, you will have trouble finding. My own experiences as a JSA client who is being managed by this current provider, is that this employer actively seeks out anti-social behaviours in applicants, and those who demonstrate the highest level of psychopathy, well they get the job. I have had two consultants in the last eight months, and both appear to be quite disturbed. The first was a text book passive/aggressive personality, who has the emotional range of a windscreen wiper (e.g. stop and go) and was about as reliable as a well worn, pair of car tyres. She was also lazy, constantly absent, completely unhelpful and unable to effectively communicate, with either her colleagues, (hence I would get phone calls from other staff members, how I was going, two days after I had attended my monthly face to face meeting- consultant failed to let them know I attended and didn't need to be phoned up) and clients. Then when confronted about a task or activity that she had failed to carry out, she would launch into some great diatribe about how she was taking time off, and I should have found someone else to assist- once again, too lazy to put an out of office message, up on her email account) The second consultant although a bit more cheerful (though equally two faced and malicious) well this one, is not only turns hostile when questioned, but has delusions of grandeur, both about her previous career (which was in the fast food industry) and her own level of self importance. e.g. started ranting and raving about how she is too important to put her name forward for any job that might be on offer- I counteracted what she was saying by stating, that outside of MADEC, nobody knows you or cares about you. She reiterated by telling me to find a new provider and then told me to leave. Whilst I was leaving, she suspended my payments, for wait for it (not fully participating in the interview process?) (I got them reinstated) but not before I threatened the area manager of Madec Kadina, with some very unpleasant media exposure. So if you want to choose this JSA provider, read this review first, and do not say, I did not warn you!
