I would not recommend Magic Dry based on my experience. The grout cleaning was completed to a very poor standard — it was clearly not done properly, with visible dirt remaining throughout. following day and re attendance was not possible as access to the areas and the time required to set aside again, nor should it have been necessary if the work had been done initially.
Despite paying $550 in cash, they refused to offer even a partial refund. I was willing as I felt it was fair to pay for the technician’s time, but not for work that was not properly carried out.
In the end, I redid the entire job myself by hand. It was physically demanding, but the grout is now spotless — proving the job was absolutely achievable, just not done properly by them.
Communication broke down completely, and their responses became rude and dismissive.
Very disappointing service and lack of accountability. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere

Clearly not keen for new business – Tracy at the Wangara branch is disgustingly rude and not particularly helpful!
Don’t waste your money, you’ll have to get someone to clean it after – Charged more than what the quoted per sqm and the rug was hardly cleaned, went over with my own spot cleaner and you could see the difference. No apologies or anything after contacting them after, sounded like they were happy with the service they provided
Would Not Recommend – Had my carpets done by Magic Dry definitely would not recommend to anyone. Was left with carpet that didn't even look cleaned NOR deodorised. So disappointed as they claim to be the best in Mandurah hence the most expensive.
Had windows, carpets and grout cleaned November 2022 – The Windows and carpets were cleaned to my satisfaction. However my grout looked the same before and after it was cleaned! And, I have my suspicions that that the shower floor had not even been cleaned because there was still a shampoo mark in the corner of the floor. Would certainly never use for grout cleaning again
Happy with the servic – First time I have used Magic Dry Carpet Cleaners..Colin arrived vaccumed and started deodorising and cleaning. Great job. Would recommend to all my friends. So professional and polite. Will definitely use them again. Carpet was dry under 2hours
Very poor clean and service – Had my carpets cleaned on friday, paid before i saw the finished job as i had an appointment. see it and would get back with an answer, the mattress needed aircon and two fans on all day and night to dry out so we slept on the couch (app was at 10am) iv asked them to come back to finish the job but everyone has just hand balled it, owner of franchise says its up to the owner of the company and vis versa. I have now contacted the bank for a refund on the carpets as i beleive i have paid for a service i didnt receive.
Fantastic service! Friendly, helpful and got the stains out my carpet! – I had boarders move out and they left the carpet in such a bad state I thought the only option was to replace it. A friend put me on to these guys and … I am amazed! They got the stains out and the carpet looked better that I remembered! Definitely recommend Magic Dry!
Excellent service – We have used Magic Dry on several occasions. Always friendly and efficient service at a competitive price. Once they had a problem getting a heavy stain out of a lounge cushion and came back twice to make sure all was okay. No extra charge. Very impressed and will continue to use them.
Patchy bleach like parches on lounge fabric cleaner should have tested – Cleaner should have tested unseen section of lounge before starting the cleaning. Result looks like bleaching in patches. Not happy!
Brilliant Job ! – Brilliant business. Cleaned my carpet like new and smelt cleaner than ever. Also is very afordable and worth the money. I recomend this to anyone who is moving in to a new house or moving out.Thank you very much Magic Dry !!

Rip off, don't use – Had these guys come around to clean a couch and rug and I stupidly didn't ask for a quote. For 35 mins work he charged me $188 when I have used Jims cleaning 6 months prior to do the exact same clean and they only charged $70. Sent them an email for feedback on the exorbitant prices but they didn't want a bar of it and basically called me a liar. Would recommend using Jims cleaning instead if you want a good job for a reasonable price.
Fantastic result – I had my carpets cleaned and was so pleased with the result, I asked the technician back to do my lounge suit. He did a fantastic job, from what looked like an impossible challenge. Technician was right on time both times, polite and professional at all times. Thank you, Magic Dry. I would definitely recommend you.

Useless!!! – Do not use this company!! They have no idea how to quote, provide little information and then refuse to carry out the works on arrival. Use any other company but this one!!
Cowboys – My sofa had to be repaired after their service. When I found the damage and complained I found it very difficult to get a satisfactory response. When I advised that I would post a negative review they got their solicitor to send me correspondence warning me to be very careful. In my opinion stay well away from this franchise. They are very unprofessional.
Lazy and terrible attitude – Took 20mins 2 clean my 3br house. He just steamed the carpets briefly.when I complain, He threw a tantrum & blames my carpet.
Terrible do not use! – Stuffed us around completely, hour late for the job and tried to overcharge by 300 bucks because it was on an expensive boat, opportunitstic we told him to go do not use
Amazing job – I had a sofa and 3 rugs cleaned, operators were very professional and have great work ethics, good results considering what they were faced with, never though i would see them look so good again. definatley recomend to anyone!!
Magic damged my new leather sofa and refuse to talk to me about it – Large strips of leather started peeling off my 12 month-old leather sofa as the Magic operative cleaned it. He denied there was a problem and stormed out the house. Since then, neither he nor Magic head office will even answer my calls or emails about the problem, despite me immediately sending them photos of the damage
Good – Great results !! Got stains out that have been left by other carpet cleaners !! Was dry very quickly and technician was very nice !! Very reliable and affordable
