I have used this dog minder service many times for both day and night stays and I have had nothing but had great experiences and received a friendly service. Would highly recommend this dog sitter.

A wonderful and passionate dog owner and animal lover who also provides a fantastic dog minding service. She is highly responsible and caring towards the dogs in her care, takes a special interest in their development and wellbeing , provides walks, swims in her own pool and overall goes over and beyond. Would definitely recommend.

Community Warning – Maison de Paw Pet Minding Pet Resort (Biggera Waters) Following this incident, I was contacted by a council ranger who advised that the property was under investigation. I have since been informed that the business was not operating as an approved council operator and that enforcement action has been taken in relation to breaches of council regulations.

I am sharing my experience so other pet owners can make an informed decision.

I paid $600 in advance for a confirmed 5-night stay for my dog. He had previously stayed at the property without any issues. We had done trial stays and doggy day care, and he was well-behaved and settled.

At 4:45 am on the first morning of his booking, I received a text message cancelling his stay and instructing me to collect him immediately, as he “wouldn’t settle.” I was told to arrange alternative kennel accommodation that same morning.

Cancelling a prepaid, confirmed booking via text before dawn, on the day of travel, demonstrates a serious lack of reliability. When people entrust their pets to a paid service, they expect stability, contingency planning, and professional handling of any issues that arise.

When I collected my dog, he appeared unsettled and distressed. As soon as we arrived home, he immediately relieved himself and drank a large amount of water, suggesting he may have been physically uncomfortable and holding on overnight, which is very concerning.

I am a full-time carer for an elderly parent and had arranged this as my first respite break in two years. Having my dog’s accommodation cancelled at 4:45 am caused significant distress and placed me in an extremely difficult position with virtually no notice to find alternative care. I had to cancel expensive prepaid accommodation, which cost me over $2,000.

The way this situation was handled was deeply upsetting and disruptive. The owner did not give my dog time to settle, and a good walk and the opportunity to relieve himself would have significantly reduced my pet's stress and avoided this situation.

Pet owners deserve consistency, preparedness, and professional care, particularly when bookings are confirmed and paid in advance.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.
