incredibly efficient pet sitting service to find support while we travel. sitters have had high integrity and send lots of pictures during the day. plenty of choice of sitters and locations. app works well, replies are quick

Another thing is the booking fee. Why would you need to charge both the sitter and client a large portion of the payment? 20% from the sitter and 12% from the client, I’m not sure that much is necessary for a website that only offers insurance regarding the animal, and not insurance regarding property damage.

petsit independently, as I had not met their mother, and neither had my dog whose space she would have been in. If they both pet sit together, this should have been mentioned on the sitter's profile. 2) I was told that their mother used 'hospital transport', and I should warn my naighbours about this as it resembled an ambulance and could be concerning to them 3) I was charged an extra $60 for walking the dog on top if the $280 I had paid for three days. As far as I know, the sitter's fee should cover dogwalks, these are a basic requirement if you look after a dog. Again, if the sitter does not offer walks, this should have been on their profile. I was upfront about asking the sitter to petsit without her mum and said I was not comfortable with that. I also agreed to pay the additional $60. Despite this, the petsitter cancelled the booking without informing me directly. Terrible communication skills, and I'm not sure how she has received so many five star reviews. I have requested a full refund.

We recently had Marnel who we found on Mad Paws looking after our boisterous great dane puppy boy and staffy girl. We were very impressed with her communication, and it was good to know that our pets were in safe hands. Our house very neat and tidy when we returned and our babies were so happy to have Marnel around! Loved that we had access to a list of reliable sitters in our area who had numerous reviews and had a positive first experience.
We decided to go away late notice, and couldn’t get family to help out. We have an older, partially deaf dog, so wanted a place like home for her to stay. Lustina was perfect for our Ladbradoodle. She asked all about him and especially what he liked. He had the best morning with her. They walked twice at different places ( in the cool ) and got to visit her home and other people there. He was so happy. Can’t recommend lustina ( madpaws) highly enough. Such a friendly caring girl.
The whole experience with Mad paws and our dogs sitter was great. Leaps and bounds better than any doc care facility I have taken pets to. I got regular updates with pics and videos and the caree was so kind.
Mad Paws is a great service in looking after pets when you’re on holidays. Their sitters are checked thoroughly and all are genuine animal lovers with lots of experience. They can stay at your house or call in for checks, feeds and walks. We have used them several times now and will continue to do so. Our cavoodles are always well cared for.
We found Mad Paws in a search and contacted several potential sitters. We settled on our closest option and had a meetup to test the dogs' reaction to her. We had a great experience with the sitter and the calm happy condition of the two dogs when we collected them. The booking and payment processes were very easy and we will be back again!

Mad Paws site is easy to use and I found a pet sitter very easily. Heidi was fabulous and I will definitely use her again. She left my house spotless, she even washed and dried her sheets. Heidi looked after Benji so well, she provided numerous photo updates over the weekend. I had a great family Xmas weekend knowing Benji was so well looked after.

We used Madpaws to find a sitter for our elderly dog while we traveled for holidays. The website was easy to navigate and we had a good choice of sitters. We will certainly use Madpaws again when we next need a sitter.

Elsa had a lovely day with Gloria, who provided lots of love and cuddles and she even put Bluey on the tv and they watched it together! I was able to relax knowing she was well looked after. I could not be more delighted with my recent pet sitting experience. Communication was on point and care next level. Our never-been-away-from-family labrador was so calm and happy and our house was left picture perfect. If I could rate 20/10 I would. Game changer!
Mad Paws sitter Ann Newton gave out two precious Maltese Shihzues the Best care recently for a week. The love, care and walks they loved and were so happy to stay. Pics sent of our happy pups was amazing.

Janna and Krittika were exceptional with our Rose . The care provided went above and beyond and Rose found a home away from home with them. Their care and attention and regular updates including super cute videos kept our family and children relaxed and happy on our holidays . During the stay they also took Rose to the Vet after seeking out consent to check out some concerns . We will definitely use them again and again . Highly recommended.

Really good concept but poorly executed by a money hungry organization. Lacks transparency or sitter remuneration and absolutely junk insurance policies providing a false sense of security.
Absolute trash. I'm confident Mad Paws do not vet anyone on their site. have used them twice and holy heck the 2 sitters I used were completely incompetent. One of them damaged by house to the tune of over $500. Mad Paws response = [Contents Removed]. after 2 weeks away our dog lost a lot of weight and was very quiet and when we walked into our house we found it a state of disbelief. There was dirt and drinks all over the floors ants in sticky drinks on the floor, some things were broken, bedroom, bathroom, laundry all dirty, out of a thousand dollars we were reimbursed $200 but the person still works for them, i do not recommend this company or the way they handled our complaint, think twice about letting strangers into your house

Mad Paws is great however their online booking system isn't so much, especially when you do recurring bookings. Its really difficult to change the dates and they keep reverting back to the dates I originally put in. Its also not very clear on how to talk to a person when you're trying to resolve, the live chat system is not user friendly when trying to do it on a mobile.
Quick to find someone in my local area who is great with pets. I like being able to filter by cost so I’m not paying high fees for our very easy going, low maintenance dog :)
We found our pet sitter a very wonderful person to get on with I would highly recommend her to anyone it was squeaks first time away from us he was very well looked after and the family got very close to squeaks we were sent photos and was very happy with them
