Terrible – Very disappointed with this stroller. I was excited to see Mamas and Papas strollers arrive in Australia having had experience with their furniture and nursery products in the UK. For $289 a consumer should expect this Pulse stroller to be of decent quality and to last as a second pram from an infant to toddler years, particularly given its a… Read more

Mamas and Papas brand. My Pulse hasn't even lasted 3months as a second stroller for my (then) 7mth old and I couldn't even give it away the way it is now. While this pram looks like its been modelled on the Maclaren stroller, don't be fooled, it doesn't compare at all mechanically. Pay the extra $100 for a real Maclaren and it will last 5 or more years. Don't waste your money on this Pulse by Mamas and Papas. Even if I did happen to buy a one-off dud, the after-care service is non-existent in Australia.

From a Mother of Three (4 and under), having had a Maclaren Techno XT, Mountain Buggy Urban (single), Mountain Buggy Urban (double), Bugaboo Frog and (very unfortunately) a Mamas and Papas Pulse. Great-looking stroller, typical Mamas and Papas good style Difficult to fold/unfold, requires two hands and knowledge of how to operate the pram; While it looks like the durable Malcaren, it doesn't operate or hold its own the same way; Poor quality of moving parts, a lot of plastic that can break; Manouverability is poor, this stoller drives so badly!; Seat when leg rest is down is too shallow; Useful only for small babies, once 6+mths the weight of the baby seems too much for the stroller, weighing it down so it feels like you're pushing a heavy carton along; the footrest also rubs the wheels once the child is old enough to use the footrest, making it even harder to push; Very poor customer support both from retailer (Babyroad in Melville WA) and Australian distributor (ChildSmart) unlike customer service for Mamas and Papas in the UK.

Excellent – I love love love this stroller, It is great and fits my tall toddler in it, I can use it on roads and gardens without it feeling like the wheels are going to fall off. I have always used expensive prams (bugaboo bee, quinny buzz, mountain buggy, maclaren quest) and find that the mamas and papas pram fits in well for both quality and comfort for… Read more

bubs. Great looking stroller mines the black pulse, very easy to fold (one foot) and recline I can do this with one hand very light to push even with my toddler in it. Quick and easy clean material, different from the maclarens and steelcraft strollers No front bar, not really a problem just wish it had one so I could use a capsule.
