The worst nappies

Absolutely terrible product! The nappy has a plastic feel and after 2 days of use my baby got a nappy rash. This product should not be sold at all. Show details

New design is useless

Used them for 18 months until they changed to a cheaper design and became useless. Will give woolies another try. Shame on you Aldi. Not everything is about money. Show details

New design is terrible

The old design of Mamia nappies was great! Now the new design has a poor fit, it leaks and has a plastic feel. Thankfully the old design is still available at Aldi. When this goes, I'll be looking for a different brand of nappy. Show details

New design is absolute RUBBISH

I used to buy nappies for all 3 children from Aldi. Sadly won’t be back. The new design is so bad! Thin, doesn’t fit well, silica crystals all over by baby’s skin, they’re so bad! I’m so upset. I got so many of my mamma friends onto these because they used to be amazing Show details

Used to love them. Now they are useless

The changes made to these nappies means they are no longer worthy to buy. One wet episode from your child and they leak; they don't absorb anything and you might as well wrap the child in a newspaper. This is Aldi trying to skimp on costs and unfortunately it has cost them customers. I recommend buying another brand. Show details

New design is terrible and unsafe

The Australian made Mamia nappies were fantastic. The new China made nappies are terrible quality and just don't fit quite right. In the two packs I used, the absorbent silica crystals leaked out of multiple nappies and onto my babies skin. These were not full nappies either. I had one nappy with a brown sticky substance inside of the nappy lining. I will not purchase again, unless production is returned to Australia. Show details

New and unimproved

I would give 0 stars if I could. The new version are terrible, they don’t fit correctly due to all the excess material which I had to cut off to make them fit around my baby’s legs. The grip tabs are horrible. The inside is no where near as absorbent as the old version. Will not buy these nappies anymore and would never recommend them to anyone Show details

Absolute RUBBISH

The old ones were SO good, the new ones are no good! Fit is different, absorbency is less and they feel really really plastic on the inside that sits against the baby's skin. Will not purchase again. Show details

Terrible new design

These nappies use to be awesome. The new "improved" design is cheap and really disappointing. They don't sit well, constantly slip down and leak. Will not be buying again Show details

So sad

It’s so sad that you have chosen to change your nappies. They were perfect and budget friendly. But now the flow on affect of your decisions to save money in production will mean that your biggest target market of mums and dads, will now be shopping elsewhere.

Please change your nappies back. It is a product that is used multiple times a day by shoppers. This product is used for babies.

Why put their health and comfort at risk???

Aldi, Listen to all of the reviews about this product please! Show details

Why change

New nappies leak a lot even after single wee or poo. Have to change my daughter’s nappy frequently and even all the clothes because it leaks every single time. We want the old one back Show details

New design is terrible

Sizing is strange with the new design. Definitely not snug. These are difficult to stick on too. Show details

Does anyone know if Mamia nappies contain any nasties?

Aleisha
Aleisha

What nasties are you referring to? It’s all a trial and error process when choosing the right nappy for your baby.. my son has a reaction to this brand but for some other babies they work well. It’s all up to trying first

I'm not entirely sure, but I know people talk about nasty chemicals (e.g. the gel etc) that can be dangerous for the baby.

I am wanting to know if anyone else has had a problem with the sizing as they say 16-25kg, I just had my son weighed he is 15kg & we have used the nappies since birth but now cannot as the straps only just do up also he started to get a rubbing mark on the top of his leg? It's a shame to I've never had any issues with any of the other sizes since newborn & any other nappie that's come close is like 12+ cents a nappy more. Am really confused because of what size they say but wondering if anyone else has had this same issue?

I have opened 2 packets and there were only 26 nappies in each packet but the packaging says there is 28. Anyone counted the nappies before?

No but I think I will now, how rude! Definitely be writing to them to complain, freebies alert maybe or at least what you paid for lol!
