Manduca Pure Cotton

It hurt my back. I'm surprised at the reviews – It hurt my back so I've gone with a different brand now. Also not that easy to put on. It wasn't as bad for my husband who has wide shoulders.

The other thing that I wanted in a carrier was to be able to use from birth without an extra add on because really setting up for a baby is hard and expensive enough without "extras" that your ultimately only going to use for a few months. extra confidence too. The carrier fits both me and my tall husband perfectly and we can even both use it in the crossed position which we find even more secure and comfy. My baby was super snuggly and slept a lot in my Manduca and I never ever worried about her health or safety in it. I also never got any pain wearing her.

The true newborn essential!! – Our Manduca has been with us since my now 2 year old was a little Bubba. It's the only baby carrier I've found that doesn't hurt my shoulders and hips (even carryingg a 13kg toddler!). It's the #1 thing I recommend to all new Mums and is the only investment you can guarantee will get lots of use. Love love love. ❤️❤️

Exceedingly helpful – I only wish I had bought one earlier! It is exceedingly helpful around the home and out and about. Wonderful for getting the shopping done with your free hands. Plus, who doesn't love baby cuddles next to your chest? Additionally, because it is supportive and has the built in hood it is truly great for when baby is feeling ill and needs to be close to mum or dad.

I don’t go anywhere with out my manduca – I tried numerous other brands of carriers and found the Manduca was the most adjustable to me and my baby, getting a beautiful supported carry is easy in the Manduca, and so comfortable. I start my mummy jourmey with one of the more common brand carriers and i couldn't believe the difference when i tried a manduca!! My husband loved it, i loved it and most importantly my bub loved it! He still loves being up in the manduca and he is now 2.

How anyone survives without a good baby carrier is beyond me.

carrier library to help others enter the world of keeping baby close. I have my own manduca ssc and we have one in our lending library. I often recommend the manduca for the following reasons,

- comfortable

- it's made from soft organic breathable cotton

- the built in insert is easy to use

- insert is thin therefore doesn't get hot like other padded inserts

- great all year round

- zip that allows you to shorten/lenghten the height

- suits all sizes (ive personally helped, petite, plus size, tall, men and women and they have all enjoyed it)

- lasts til toddler (i used til about 2.5)

- excellent for back carries

- waist band sits comfortably

- easy to adjust

- easy to care for

- value for money

Best carrier ever!!! – I love my manduca as my lil princess is very cuddley when it comes to nap times, so wearing my manduca means i can exercise and cuddle her while she naps. The manduca material is so soft and comfy to wear, it doesnt feel like your wearing it :) love it for kangatraining and walking :) . Very easy to use and transport :) .

Love love love – I love this carrier, i love the hands free ability to still be able to interact with my 2 year old while have cuddles and knowing my baby is safe and comfortable. Its so very easy to use. I have problems with my neck and shoulders, but using this carrier it hasnt irritated it and doeznt affect this problem if anything it really supports the shoulders and back when using this amazing carrier.

Nothing compares – Tried and purchased other carriers. Best way to describe difference is others felt like carrying a carrier this feels like carrying a baby! Wouldn't want to be without it!! – Both hubby and I, and baby of course, love it!!! It's our favourite go-to carrier and we've tried MANY! As a physio and babywearing consultant I also recommend it. Very adjustable, comfy and breathable (organic cotton is my favourite). Have used this with my babe from birth to now a toddler!

Must have for every baby – It's really really must have. I got this when I had to travel with my 6weeks bub. It comes with newborn insert so didn't need to buy anything extra. It has so many adjustments so it fits anyone who wants to carry.

Now my baby is 6 months old.

My baby has been carried in his manduca by all- grandparents, cousins, aunt n his DAD( who hated the idea in the beginning but now takes the manduca everywhere.)

I gave washed it many times as well in the machine. It's organic cotton so perfect for my super sensitive baby skin-he develops eczema with a kinds of material:-((..But doesn't with this.

The best thing is its perfect for his developing hips.

I don't like front facing carriers as I don't get to c what bub is upto.

I put him in his manduca for walks shopping n sometimes just to ease him when he is crying. He snoozes immidiately..

the child on the front, back and hip and has the option to cross over the straps on front carry. It can carry children up to 20kg, I can carry my 4 year old on my back. It has many adjustable bits so it does pay to spend some time getting it to suit you which can be a bit of a pain if you are swapping the carrying of the child frequently but you get to know your preferences after a while. It can get a little hot after a while so you just dress you and bub appropriately. So comfortable for mum and bub, multi position carrier, high weight limit, can be used from birth Can be hot to wear and a bit fiddly to adjust but didn't really bother me.
