impossible to setup properly, I love the sound of this guitar but unfortunately I’m having to fight it, I managed to get the action slightly lower 4mm by cranking the truss rode to the max, forcing the neck to bow till I got the high E string buzzing and backed off a bit till the buzzing was gone. Still very hard to play, I remember asking on the day of the purchase if they could get the guitar setup for me , the answer was the guitar is already setup by the manufacturer. I believe the guitar needs a neck reset but the price of the guitar does not justify the cost of such repair. The reputation of a guitar brand does not guarantee that the guitar is without fault, this should never happen if the dealer was checking the guitars . I guess there is guitar shop and Good guitar shop Since I bought 2 other guitars from Sky music both were very well setup

The fact that Manny's dont respond any of the reviews left here tells you everthing you need to know about the place. when you ever get your goods. You'll get one item sent from Brisbane, another from Perth etc....they use Startrack which, if they bothered to read the reviews, are by far the worst courier service in Australia but Manny's dont GAF because they have your money and you cant ask for a refund on a lost parcel, because you can't return it right?
Bought a "brand new" Gibson Acostic was sent a 2 & 1/2 year old guitar. Very old stock should be identified as such and customers given the option to decide if they are okay with that or not. To me, this seems like stereotypical used car salesman sleazy. It can't be great for the wood to be sitting in case in a box for years. Likely quite low humidity inside and that's not good.

Excellent customer service – Had a guitar delivered, and it arrived with some cracking in the finish. I emailed customer support with pictures of the issue and they offered multiple options to replace the guitar. I took the guitar in to Mannys and they replaced it without question, a very simple process and stres free.
the worst to buy online – I bought a audio tecknica head worm microphone it looked like it was from ebay and parts were missing,I actually still believe it was a chinese knock off,I just bought same item from Swamp,it came boxed and with usage manual. photo left Mannys the right Swamp.exactly the same product eventually I got a refund,but never again
Awesome customer service and quick delivery – Ordered an amp and amp cover 4 days ago, today the amp arrived well boxed and sealed. The amp cover is at the warehouse buy will be posted soon. Mannys advised me of the slower delivery of the amp cover. Nil issues though, fully advised and aware and was also told it will arrive before xmas. Great Service guys, my go to Music Store now..
Horrible customer service – The tech employed by this shop broke my Fender while it was restrung. The manager and staffs were very unhelpful to rectify the matter, blamed me all sorts of things under the moon, and did not give me broken instrument back ( replacement had been given, after extensive emotional roller coaster). Rude communication, unsupportive and dishonest.
Mannys are spammers – I ordered an M-Audio keyboard and arrived in a week. But if you give them your email address, they will spam you. I've made over 5 inquiries to their team either by phone or email and they still can't get it sorted. I'm never buying from them again. Just because I buy something doesn't give them the right to continually spam your inbox. Yes, I know i can add to spam and block lists but that's not the point. Never shopping with them again.

Can not fault this Melbourne icon – I've been buying from Mannys for years, and I'm pleased to see that their online service is just as terrific. Always helpful, polite and a seamless system that has delivered what they promise, and when they promise. Fast service, and that's in the current Covid-19 pandemic!

Best online company for music gear – These guys are awesome, great service and pricing. They underpromise and over-deliver, Product always arrive earlier than expected. If you backorder a product (which is clear on their site), you get regular updates. 100% my go-to site. They also price match. 10/10.
Wouldn't recommend ordering a guitar from them unless you can buy in store – I'm not based in Melbourne so ordered via their website. I order a "new" guitar from them, it wasn't labelled as a "open box product". The guitar showed up and was clearly used floor stock or returned stock. Body paint had light swirl scratches, hardware and pickup covers had corrosion and general people grim on them. Appears they palmed off the grubby floor stock to my online order.
