We have finished building our brand-new house with Marque over the period of 1.5 years plus the initial 6 months of design and have mixed feelings about the experiences. build, so leaving us a bit in limbo for a while.

Secondly, Marque's project and build teams are second to none. Especially the experiences with Site Supervisor Damir and Construction Manager Halid are excellent. They have worked tirelessly to make sure all issues are addressed during build and even after construction has been completed on our house. They are very responsive and follow up with their trades to make sue all matters are fixed in a quickest possible time possible. They have strong customer-first mindset that need to be replicated across Marque's business. I strongly recommend asking to have Damir and Halid to be in charge of your builds if possible.

Thirdly, the experiences with Marque's Office team and Account team unfortunately are not so great. So much staff turnover at the office and they seem to lose track of customer's project and correspondence so often. My advice is to have everything in writing and signed to prevent any dispute later on. As for the Account team, they do not care about customers at all, only worrying about getting money straight away and don't even understand the terms and conditions clearly written in the signed contract. There is a strong disconnection between the Office and Account teams and they just leave the customers in limbo. I recommend having your build contract properly checked by a lawyer or someone who know before you sign and make sure you understand Marque's payment stages, stage definition and liquidated damage clauses. And also making sure you read and understand all the fine prints of definition of building start date and what it meant by Occupancy Permit, which does not necessarily mean Hand-Over. In our case, Hand-Over is 2.5 months after Occupancy Permit was issued. And making sure when you deal with Account people, you always refer to the signed contract terms & conditions. My advice to Marque is PLEASE put customer-focussed staff in the Account team and that will improve the customers experiences and attract more customers to your business.

Overall, we have now moved into our beautiful home and thouroughly enjoy it. This is our dream coming through. Eventhough we have some bad experiences with Marque's Office and Account teams, Damir and Halid helped to compensate that in a big way and we think it's a positive experience for us. We would like to thank Marque for building our house, especially so grateful to Damir and Halid for your support and dedication.

The team at Marque are friendly, responsive and very knowledgeable with what they do. We were very lucky to have dealt with George. He is experienced, very understanding and diligent. extremely thorough, meticulous and literally pay attention to every detail & problem this could sometimes cause delays, however they explain and negotiate so that it works in their clients favour. I do suggest to others considering Marque at planning stage to make concrete decisions as variations are expensive. But they do deliver what they promise!
