Phoned Mazda roadside assist with tyre failure at 2.23pm, was told RAC would come approx 90 mins.Spoke with Mazda again at 4.13pm. Rang RAC at 4.44pm and was told 20mins to 1/2hr . RAC phoned 6.22pm, by this stage I had got family help, and had returned home. Not a good experience.
Terrible service, called and the first person didn’t seem to know what they were doing, so he just transferred me to someone else. The next woman was unbelievably rude, abrupt and insensitive. I could not believe customer service personnel could speak like that. Shocking! I agree with others, if I could have given a 0, that would have been more accurate .
I called Mazda Roadside Assistance because my car battery died, and the person who answered was extremely rude. He sounded annoyed from the start and spoke to me like I was a bother. When I asked if the battery replacement would be free if i need one, he said, “yea that’s what warranty means” in a really dismissive tone. I was just trying to… Read more
understand what to expect.
When people call roadside assistance, they’re already stressed, the last thing they need is someone with a bad attitude. This person should not be working in a role where they deal with customers needing help. Really disappointed with the customer service. The guy that came and replaced my battery was really nice tho so 3 stars bc of him.
I needed my tyre changed. It took 23 minutes from the time I called to the time my new tyre was on. They were incredibly efficient and super friendly. I never leave reviews for anything, but I am in awe of their efficiency.
Fantastic service once again. Woke up to a flat battery. Help arrived within 30 minutes and battery replaced.
Tilt tray from Hell – What a joke, tilt tray truck was too small for my vehicle, would have exceeded load limit. Driver was dressed in non PPE clothes and wearing thongs? Jammed my vehicle into the back of the truck because the tray was too small. Driver did not display any professionism and could give a rats about my vehicle. How do these Cowboys get accredited by Mazda Australia??
Satisfactory service – I read some reviews here before and thought I would go for NRMA roadside assistance. But before I did, got few tyres damaged due to debris on M5 motorway. Luckily I was able to bring the car home before one of the tyres was flat. Called Mazda Road Side assistance they picked my call and arranged NRMA roadside assistance. They came in around 1 hour… Read more
and replaced the tyre with spare tyre. The service was smooth totally opposite to most of the comments. Maybe I was lucky or their service varies in different places, I don't know. But I am thankful to Mazda Roadside Assistance team.
No service at all - a joke at best, a scam at worst – Terrible service, doesn't compare to the reliable and professional service you get with RACV/nrma. It took 4 separate calls over the course of 1 hour to get my request logged. Then waiting time for the roadside assist car after that. When I enquired whether I could access the customer support options (accommodation, relocation) as I was broken… Read more
down more than 100km from home as outlined in their policy, first I was told it would not apply to me and then I was told they didn't know anything about that service and I would need to call on Monday! (I broke down on Saturday!!) I have no words other than this is a joke policy or a scam.
Horrendous – If I could give 0 that would be more honest rating. 2,5 hours trying to get through on 1800 034411 to seek help with punctured tyre replacement. Tried 4 out of 6 states after hearing you call couldn't be connectedfor 3-4 time trying to get hold of them in WA option 5 on the menu (mind you I am in WA). Out of curiosity trying different states -… Read more
NSW/AC - SAME ANSWER, VIC - SAME ANSWER, QLD - - finally a break through- lady was kind enough to transfer me to WA...and get what answer I get...This time your call couldn't get connected...I get another provider via my car insurance to assist cope $110 fee, and call Mazda RSA one last time and I gotten through after 2,5 hr....[Name Removed] took my call I tried to argue she was available to take my call all this time...needless to say complaint will be going in on Mon, and I truly hope [Name Removed] gets sucked for the sake of basics of customer service.
Mazda poor roadside assistance service – My experience with Mazda's roadside assistance was absolutely dreadful. When I needed help this morning on the way to work, the provided customer care number was unreachable, leaving me with no way to request assistance. I had to resort to purchasing a premium RACV membership on the spot just to get my car back on the road. This kind of service is… Read more
unacceptable and reflects very poorly on Mazda. I am extremely disappointed and would strongly advise against purchasing a Mazda vehicle due to their pathetic service.
Exceptional service – The battery on my BT-50 went flat so I called Mazda roadside assist. They arrived and replaced the battery all within an hour. Extremely happy with the service.
Don’t think it even exists. Have an alternative – I decided to have RACV after the phone call just would not progress beyond press 2 for Victoria, and when you do it same message loops. This is what happened today only. I had tried them once before and same issue.
Terrible service - do not bother if you live or travel in rural Australia – I am currently on the side of the road broken down and after three hours waiting there is no tow truck and no taxi. Roadside assist has told me the taxi will cost me approximately $410 as I am 59kms from home! I was not told this when I first called for them. I was told a taxi would take me home on multiple occasions and it was not until after the taxi service was on its way that they advised this amount.
Buyers beware. They don’t send out renewal letters! – Had been with Mazda roadside since 2014 after 2 new cars bought from a Toowoomba dealer. 3 weeks ago my 2019 Mazda3 broke down (due to recall that I wasnt told about) and had to call Mazda roadside assistance. I was told that my policy had lapsed in January 2022. They said they cannot do anything until I pay $300. I never received a renewal… Read more
notice. The call center agent said, "I only take payments. You can talk to head office about a refund." Because I was 2 hours away from home and it was a weekend, I had no choice but to pay $300.
I rang Mazda customer service 3 days later and requested a refund. I was told that the company does not send out renewal notices and they have no duty to the customer to do this. Very poor business practice. I have reported to the ACCC. Buyers of mazda cars BEWARE. Don’t be fooled by the free roadside assist. They will make sure it lapses.
