accelorater hard until smoke poured from the exhaust, it made a terrible noise and he quickly turned it off . I asked was the car OK and he said it was just because it hadnt been driven for awhile. The next day the car made the same noise,car wouldn't start and a heap of warning lights went off. Called the mobile mechanic who diagnosed the problem. Car needed to be towed so I calld 24/7 next day. They said 60-90 minutes but if my car was in an awkward spot, they'need to send an additional smaller vehicle at my own cost. Driver arrived over two hours later and after the workshop was closing. The mechanic kindly waited behind. I tried to cancel the towtruck and was told if I rebooked next day I would need to pay full price. So much for "unlimited callouts." The towtruck drive told me the jobs were just posted on the app for the next available in the area. - so the 60-90 minute ETA not reliable too.

Their website says "experienced technicians"and technician is exactly what they are- not mechanics They can replace the battery, carry fuel, change tyres or organise a tow. That's all, even then you don't find out until you use the service how many"exceptions" there are that you have to pay for.

A flat battery necessitated a call for a jump start that was promptly answered and a mechanic was there within 45 mins. The staff memeber on the end of the Roadservices help line explained averything clearly and approx arrival times quoted were met easily. A replacment batttery with good waranty purchased ( mybattery was at the end of its life!) fitted quickly and i was off on my way... A+ service. Show reply

Found I had a flat tyre on our new-to-us Audi. They asked if we had a special lock nut which we replied no, we couldn't get one of the covers off & we didn't think it would. nearest tyre shop or he could put air in the tyre & we could carefully drive it there. We elected to drive the car there. Road service person then followed us there, just to make sure we arrived safe. We are young & this was our first ever flat tyre, so we were a little overwhelmed & didn't know what to do. Road service person was so gracious & run through all the steps for us, so next time we know what to do. He even brought up a photo on his phone to show us the lock nut we needed to purchase.

This company is okay but on reading the T&Cs it states under 'Accommodation' 9.3, that "Accommodation claim reimbursement will not be applicable during the first 48 hours following your vehicles breakdown". brought the battery for him to come back out. I called and they have now said that the mechanic is refusing to come out and 24/7 are refusing to call anyone else outside of my area to see if someone else will come out.

till next week. As I am elderly and know little about cars, he very kindly spoke to them and eventually found somewhere where they could do it the next day. He was helpful and very pleasant throughout. He arranged a tow truck for me. When it arrived, it became obvious I couldn't get in to the truck. He rang his boss and arranged for me to be picked up and driven home. All this was at no extra cost as I was less than 20 km from home. I have never received such wonderful service from any organisation before. I want vo repeat my thanks to all the people I dealt with, especially Josh. I was home within 2 hours of my first call. I have been with this organisation for 5 years and shall continue to stay with them.

Had issues with starting the car. Realised batteries were flat. The roadside service attended in about 1 hour on the Easter Monday. He was caring and helpful. This is the second time I've used these guys and never have I been more glad I have membership with them! They were SO quick to come and change my tyre when I got a huge puncture. Sensational!! Signed up for the 5 year Gold Std service a year or two ago and have since sold that car, was smart enough to transfer to the car I'm now driving and my power steering broke. So greatful this policy follows me and not the car I sold! Phoned, tow truck sent out, car delivered to my mechanic. Great piece of mind. Plus the guy they sent out was so lovely and helpful. He arrived very quickly to help with my car that wouldn't start. I was impressed how quickly he worked out it was a battery issue. He then suggested I might need to buy a new battery but was happy to wait a while to recheck the battery once it was charged, and we found the battery was actually fine. I appreciated this, as if he was in a rush I probably would have bought a new battery unnecessarily! Show reply

It may depend on where you live as to the service you get, but for me in regional Victoria, I was impressed with the service from a local auto electrics guy that 24/7 Roadsideservices uses.
