Extremely disappointing experience with MCM House. I placed an order for a bed because the website clearly stated an estimated delivery of mid-June. After I completed the purchase and paid in full, my order confirmation was updated to mid-August—a two-month delay that was never disclosed before payment. When I contacted customer service, I was simply referred to the Terms & Conditions stating that delivery dates are "estimates only." While I understand that unforeseen delays can happen, advertising one delivery timeframe to secure a sale and then changing it immediately afterwards is misleading and not what I would expect from a premium furniture retailer.

To make matters worse, I was told that if I wanted to cancel the order because of the significantly delayed delivery, I would be charged a 20% cancellation fee. Expecting customers to pay hundreds of dollars because the company failed to meet its advertised delivery estimate is, in my view, completely unfair.

I was also disappointed with the way my concerns were handled by [Name Removed], the Customer Care Coordinator. Rather than showing empathy or attempting to find a reasonable solution, the responses felt dismissive and unhelpful, with the focus placed solely on quoting the Terms & Conditions instead of addressing the issue or taking responsibility for the inaccurate delivery estimate. It was an unprofessional customer service experience.

I expected much better transparency, accountability, and customer care from MCM House. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with little confidence in the company, and I would encourage anyone considering purchasing from them to be cautious—especially if the advertised delivery timeframe is an important factor in their decision.

Shockingly overpriced for the quality, they charge a premium and deliver ( months After the expected delivery) absolute cheap Chinese cr#p with really poor quality fabrics that are NOT easy care or washable. They expect you to get them professionally cleaned for the smallest mark because if you clean yourself and with CARE the fabrics changes colour!!! The couches are hard and not comfortable with barely any filling. The Sydney owner lives the high life from earning off deceiving customers and the staff are arrogant and rude and like ghosts once they have your money. Shop elsewhere!

 Follow-up  · Terrible warranty - only had the couches for 3 months when this occurred and the fabric should not have lot lost colour the way it did simply using wool wash - a VERY mild detergent. No couch fabric should require professional cleaning as McM claim - to remove marks from cotton! The company refused to take any responsibility for their defective fabrics yet they charge extraordinary prices for the inferior clean quality
