Megalink

Work wells – I have had a service for years good staff and good service, I don't normal write reviews but the Pet med comments are just rubbish I have written a comment so please read, Megalink is a husband and wife team and they do a good job, without the Megalink service I would have nothing of any quality. Works well Some down time but not a lot

Broadband to rural areas – For those of us that live in the country know, one of our pet hates is internet connection issues..Its either on or its off, its either Dial up..(Yes I said that word Dial up) or Internet via satellite. Well neither are suitable, Dial up is slow and Satellite is very expensive. Well thank goodness there was another solution and that was a company by the name of Megalink.

Megalink gave us another option and that was wireless internet.

They put an aerial on my roof that pointed to another aerial on a mountain some 30 km s away.

This worked very well and certainly gave me the connection that I needed.(Be it expensive)

Unfortunately over the years there service declined ( Their Staff had no personalities and gave no help at all)

I do believe they are working hard at fixing the issues with staff and connections, and to this date I still have my connection with them.

I use their current starter Pack which cost's $47.00 per month, its slow but It still does what I need it to do.

We must all understand that the internet will never be 100%. Most Suppliers have issues and the internet will never be perfect.

I believe what we should be looking for is the best we can get in the area we live, and for me I believe that's with Megalink.

So well Done Brendan and the teem at Megalink for providing us rural people a product that the city dwellers take for granted...(Like Their water) But that's another review...

That's my bit..Signing out...From a long time user of the internet from a quite little town in Victoria, Nanneella. Faster than dial up... Drops out now and then..But so do the others....

Don't get ripped off! – These people are crooks. Excess data charges are at 10c per MB. If you go over the monthly plan by 3GB they will charge you $300.00 extra for the month. Read the fine print in their contract - it is set up to take advantage of customers who don't read every word. e.g $300 cancellation fee. Expensive. Bad customer Service. Arrrogant Staff.
