SCAMMERS! Read their google reviews! – I booked a RWC, confirmed the cost and attended to have it completed. On attending, I was told that the cost had now doubled (I’m assuming because I’m female) and when I disputed this, he knocked off $20 and told me that’s the best he could do, that he had to charge me at least $180 and that he just works there and is following instructions from… Read more

his boss.

I called the business whilst in their reception, which was answered by a male who I understand was the owner/manager, who said to me “don’t you need to buy a voucher or something”, I told him I have the photo and detail of the confirmed price and he reverted back to $200.

My vehicle was a later model vehicle, with full service history, new wheels, alignment and a pre RWC inspection clearance.

I’m glad I didn’t proceed because after reading the reviews, it sounds as though they’re not the most reputable company and people believe their vehicles were damaged in order for this business to try and make money off them. Based on the way they conducted themselves with me, I’d be inclined to believe that that’s true!

When I asked for the details of the licenced tester, I was refused repeatedly but noticed on the wall that the licence displayed had already expired in September 2023. I photographed this and was told I can’t photograph what they’re legally required to display.

I have reported this to VIC Roads, consumer affairs and ACC. I understand Vic Roads will be investigating!

DON’T GO HERE, BOOK A REPUTABLE COMPANY FOR VEHICLE REPAIRS AND RWC!

Melbourne service and roadworthy Center – From the start of my experience at Melbourne Service Centre it's been nothing but the BEST experience. I had called a few other places before I had called Melbourne service & straight away it was really good/kind customer service. I've had bad experiences with mechanics in hoppers area before so its harder now as a single mum of 3kids, that… Read more

needs to save the $$ for these kinda expenses to trust a mechanic but the guys here are so professional, understanding & kind.

I knew I needed a clutch replacement & had saved the money for that but because I drove the car longer then I should've, i pushed the car so much I ended up needing another 3 more important things done to get the car properly fixed. The guys were so kind to offer me a loan car so I could get myself and 3kids around while they fixed my car.

There were extra car parts myself & mechanic didn't know were needed until they pulled the car apart to fix the clutch, they kindly offered the parts to me at cost price & no labour cost for the install of the extra parts. That's something they really didn't have to do.

From here on I will always take my car here & would totally recommend Melbourne service and roadworthy Centre for the honest work they do and the friendly staff.

They are a fantastic group with a family atmosphere – I have gone to this location twice now. They are a fantastic group with a family atmosphere. The first time was because I have a 15 year old car, and have barely done any major work to it, and they provided excellent and honest service. Did not up charge me and told me the concerns I had (brakes) were in fact fine. I knew there was a large… Read more

amount needed and they kept me in the loop from day one and the vehicle was done in less time than originally estimated.

The second time was I had two leaking tires on my car. They were more than accommodating and took my car over the lunch hour. I was able to run and grab a coffee and they fixed both tires at no charge! Again they explained it was a slow leak at the valve stem.

They also have an excellent service warranty of 1 year/ 20,000km.

I would highly recommend this place and I will for sure be returning here. With my vehicle or my spouses.
