This brush was recommended to me by a friend who said she couldn't live without it - so, of course, I had to order one. This clever device is a hairdryer and brush all in one, so I thought it would be great for travelling to save taking my hairdryer along with me. It is bigger than I expected, but I have to admit this device works well and… Read more

produces great results. It does take a bit of practice to get used to it and it is a good idea to view some YouTube videos prior to use.

Caught fire. Avoid – Runs far too hot. Literally caught fire in my daughter's hand. Lint filter is impossible to clean so after a few years use, it just burnt out. Do not recommend purchase. Show details

The queen of all hair blowouts – I purchased the mermade to tame my very curly, bleached and unhealthy hair. I’d been looking for quite some time as most curling brushes are damaging on hair. I saw the mermade on line and purchased it from Myer. What a fantastic buy. I also purchased the mermade hair mist from a local hair salon. The biggest a pros of it are: - 3… Read more

styling attachments which are all extremely useful. The hairdryer attachment works so well. - it gives a very good finish without extreme heat. - the hair mist ensures frizz is minimised - it is extremely cute - its pink and who doesn’t love pink !!! - results are super - great price - great customer service (more on that later )

The cons of it are : - very large so you might struggle if your hand is small/weak (mine is not thankfully)

I didn’t read the guide first and didn’t clip in the blowout attachment properly. I emailed the company and they came straight back, advising me to send it straight in for a changeover. I then realised I hadn’t clipped it in propetly.

I love my mermade and feel like one when I use it for lovely seaworthy locks.

Easy fix when in a hurry! – I won this brush in a competition but had intended to buy one. Based off my experience I would be happy to pay and purchase one if my current one needed to be replaced. I find it really difficult to blow dry my hair with a hairbrush and hair dryer so this is a really convenient option for anyone in the same boat. The results are not exactly the… Read more

same as a traditional blow-dry or as smooth but in terms of ease it is great. The barrel does get extremely hot and needs to be handled with care. It is quite bulky to store also. There are two heat settings but I find I need to use the hottest one to get the results.

Love it – This is so easy to use. I have really long hair and it is so quick. Make sure to get all the knots out first and it takes a couple times to get the hang of it, so can use the low setting while getting used to. Overall it gave me a nice blowdry. Show details

I would rate it zero if I could. BURNT MY HAIR – I bought the brush when it was on sale. Upon opening the box, I noticed the cheap plastic quality of the product. I decided to give it a try. I have thick long hair. I usually use a round brush and a hair dryer and my hair is soft and silky however usually takes me 45 minutes to style. I thought I’ll try Mermade Hair Blow Dry Brush as it might be… Read more

quicker. I was wrong. The quality of the brush was so bad that my hair is fried. The ends are split. The product was too hot and my hair is breaking from the roots. I have spent $100 on hair treatments now in an attempt to save my hair however it appears I now have to chop my hair off because the brush has damaged my hair. DO NOT BUY. Cheap quality and whilst it make look good on the first attempt, your hair will start to be dry and damaged thereafter.

Burnt my hair! Wish i could give less stars – If you want to frizz/burn your hair and burn your hand in the process go for it! Got the blow dry for the small size brush mainly for my bangs. The device heated up so much in less than a min frizzed my bangs and was too hot where the bristles/metal was burning hot. Bad design and overpriced. Honestly feels so lightweight and cheap…When i asked… Read more

3 in 1 ! Brush your hair, blow dry it and style it! – I absolutely love hair products and I wanted to find something that could brush dry and style my hair at the same time without damaging my hair or it getting tangled. I bought this from Harvey Norman in Brisbane for 100 bucks and honestly it has been the best hair product for me and it is so practical and fun to use too. And it’s pink!
