Very poor quality. Very poor customer service – I will never purchase anything from here again. I’ve purchased Kate spade and coach typically and now purchased a Michael Kors purse from their website. I’ve never had an issue with any purse. and have only had it about a month as well.
A patch of the leather on the back is disintegrating like it is melting, but it has not been exposed to anything hot. Mostly just hangs on my key rack inside of my front door but There is a patch of the leather that is like disintegrating and it is sticky and is getting all over my clothes and will not wash off. It’s very bizarre.
Contacted customer support via email and no one responded 3-4 days later so I contacted the chat. I spent like 15 min providing pictures and a ton of information as requested. The agent gave me a case number and immediately disconnected the chat. No resolution.
So I immediately opened a new chat and despite already having provided all of this info and pictures the new agent asked me to provide again. She also kept telling me to double check the order number although I was copying and pasting it directly from the email receipt from the online purchase and even sent her a picture telling her she can double check it. It’s right there. She then said sorry pictures were reviewed and they won’t do anything about this. All decisions are final.
Poor Customer service & Product Quality – I've bought a pair of "Evy Metallic Empire Logo Jacquard High-Top Sneaker" online, terrible shoes. Poor quality for luxury price! They are so uncomfortable, heavy and size was bigger than normal 39! I've already paid $15 for their shipping and now, have to pay $20 for returning them back! Poor quality for luxury price – I purchased a Michael Kors backpack and loved the design. I used it for 6 months until I noticed the strap starting to rip at the bottom. I contacted Michael Kors via email just to see if they do repairs but had no reply. I even when down to the harbour town store on the Gold Coast for some help but they didn't seem to care. I'm not very impressed with the quality or the service and I won't be wasting my money with them again.
Worst shopping experience – I ordered a pair of shoes online, incorrect size, emailed MK within 2 minutes. No help given. Wrong shoes were sent. I tried to wear them as i needed to but they gave me a big painful wart,, quality is very bad. Had to spend more money to see a podiatrist. Such a waste of money. sending us very generic responds with no proper outcome. You can see the shoes that I have received. This is appalling for such a big brand to do this to its customers.
Horrible experience – I ordered a smart watch from the Michael Kors global website. To my utter surprise, I did get a delivery but there was no watch! There was just a cleaning cloth. I was shocked and immediately raised a complaint. Its been 2 weeks and no resolution. No one was helpful from the global team and I basically lost 389 dollars. Suffice to say, I will never recommend Michael Kors.

which has never happened, so I decided I would just browse MK’s selection. Almost immediately I had found “THE ONE” !!! Again, NEVER HAPPENS!! Ordered the handbag instantly for WAY more than I would have spent at my go-to handbag store, but it was well worth it. I kept a watchful eye on my email, for shipment tracking updates, even had the text message notifications. When I received an email stating my purse would be arriving the next day I sat at my house ALL DAY anticipating the arrival of my order. It never came. That evening I received an email correcting the tracking info stating it would be arriving in two days. The next morning I went to class, left my basement apartment unattended, came home a couple hours later and received and email stating my shipment had arrived. YAY!! ….well, Not really, it was nowhere to be found. My guess? Someone watched the delivery truck just dump my $600 handbag down the three concrete steps leading to the entry of the two studios below the main house and snatched it up realizing the deliver guy had not even bother to knock, put the package inside the entryway and close the door, or have anyone sign for it and scored a very nice purse. I emailed MK immediately and thought that it would be a HUGE process to prove that I never received my order…the next morning I receive an apology email stating they had refunded my checking account for the ENTIRE order and that they value my relationship with their business (which was brand new considering this was my first order) WOW!! WHAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you SO MUCH Michael Kors!! My loyalty now lies strictly with MK from here on out. And yours should too!!
I received my bag on time, but I have to return it, they refunded my money in less than 10 days – I have to be honest that I was bothered by the negative reviews here about the refund process. They sent the wrong bag and ignore all emails – Was easy to buy and pay for it. Transaction was smooth. Bag took very long to arrive, and when it did, it was the wrong bag, wrong colour too... What kind of business leaves the website malfunctioning for a month while it claims to be a big business and a brand? May be Michael Kors wants some donations because he is struggling with COVID? the option of dropping it to one of DHL's drop off points or arranging for DHL to pick it up. The closest drop off point to me was the airport which is about 20km away so I opted to get a quote for DHL to pick it up....$120.00....no thank you.
I wanted to see if there was any way I could return the bag in store, I know it was unlikely but I thought I'd try my luck. However, finding out if it was possible was IMPOSSIBLE. There is no customer service phone number, only an enquiries email which is like pulling teeth to get a response from. For a company like Michael Kors I would expect their customer service line to be more established and responsive. I called the store in the city and was given the US customer service line....
Luckily I had a family member willing to buy it off me saving me the trip to the airport!
Terrible Qaulity – For ages all I wanted was a Michael Korrs Tote. I recently had a big big birthday so my fiancee saved up and bought me one. It has been 3 months and the Tote has lost it's shape and barely stands. I even tried pushing the shape back in by placing items inside overnight and nothing! I have bought cheaper no name bags in the past and never had this issue. Totally expected better from Michael Korrs and will certainly not be buying again. Show details
