Hi Enza, Cycle times will vary depending upon the cycle selected. Using the below link of the operators manual (go to page 7) which shows the fascia panel for the appliance. Different cycles will have different lengths You can also shorten the length of a cycle by pressing the short button. The operator's guide also has average cycle times located on pages 64-65.

Hi Enza, it looks like this has been answered by those in the know, but from my personal experience I've never run it other than at night (maybe once during the day and that was on a 'shorter' cycle) so I've not had any concerns about the length of time it goes for.

I can say that we have a young toddler and that in the past, as part of his sleep routine, we would put the dishwasher on to assist with the 'white noise' and helping them to sleep. This has gone out the window since getting the Miele as it is ridiculously quiet! We live in an older cottage style house and you can hear a squeaky floor board at the other end of the house, but not our new dishwasher! Still loving it. Just make sure you keep the rinse aid up to it.

And we've not had any issues with it not cleaning something 100% - it's totally awesome!

No regrets to getting this machine!

The G4920 does not have a rinse only (rinse and hold) function.
