Is this model worth buying over the g4920
We are not impressed with the G6100 and can't see a reason to pay the premium. Wash Cycles range up to 3 hours????????!!!! Economic? True, quickest is 43 minutes but dishes are not well dried - which seems an overall factor with most cycles and compared with previous machines. All other cycles are 2 hours plus. We also opted for the cutlery tray. Such a timely fiddle and never again. I note the G4920 offers a basket which we would certainly go for next time. Suggest check cycle times and watch delivery promises and effective installation and also ensure they check your water pressure is strong enough.
If you want the flexibility of the 3D cutlery tray and wine glass support on the bottom rack and are someone who likes to use a quick cycle, plus on the sensor wash cycle it will sense how many dishes you put in and how dirty they are you can save big on water consumption with that. It also uses a Sensor dry but always remember if there is a lot of humidity in the kitchen it can effect the drying so as per the book of every dishwasher always open the door for at least 30 minutes to let the dishes cool down and finish the drying process. Always remember the detergent you use and if you don't put dishwasher salt in this can also effect the wash and dry.
