Dodgy from the outset – As with the previous persons comments we had our fridge delivered 41/2 years ago - also dented all over the door which was replaced twice to try and get it right. It still deprives me nuts that we paid so much for a fridge with dents in it that I can see every morning as the sun shines in the window. We have had issues twice with clogged pipe and drainage and most recently the fridge is clearly not working at all. Complete loss of temperature. The last few call outs miele argued about which repairer was their approved servicer so I'm not looking forward to tomorrow's outcome and cost! Very happy with many other of our Miele purchases but not this one

Poorly Designed – We purchased this refrigerator 4 years ago. The stainless steel door was dented in several places when it was unpacked and it had to be replaced, that was understandable. Very shortly after installation, a seal around the back of the inside worked its way loose - it was pushed back in place by a repairman but has worked it's way loose again. Water continually drips down the inside back wall of the fridge, if dishes covered with plastic film are pushed too close to the back, the water can pool in the plastic which then spills everywhere when you try to take the dish out. This can be quite annoying. I asked a service technician if this was supposed to happen and he assured me that this was part of the design. This water is then supposed to drain through a small hole at the bottom of the fridge. Unfortunately this hole often goes mouldy and blocks up so you have to continually check it and unclog it. I was unaware of this and ended up with lots of water in the bottom of the fridge. Also, if the hole gets blocked up, it affects the pressure inside the fridge making the door difficult to open. This resulted in the whole handle of the fridge coming off. The service rep indirectly implied that we opened the door of the fridge too often. We are a family of four, of course the door gets opened probably about 50 times a day. This was not under warranty and was very expensive to get replaced. Overall I think the design is very poor - moving parts in a handle which gets used so often does not seem to me to be a great idea.

I wish I had bought the Liebherr, it was the same price.

Poor quality door seals and handle – We had the first door replaced after 1 year, thank you Miele for taking care of it. Now, 3 years later the second door seal is torn. It folds over in the bottom corner and the seal weakens and tears. The door handle is always loose and requires regular tightening. On the plus side, it's very quiet and easy to clean. Won't buy Miele fridge again.

Miele technician has been and ordered a new door and handle, no questions. Great customer service for a fridge way out of warranty.

Not what I expected from Miele – This refrigerator is now about 6 years old. During this time it has required two service calls. Under warranty the computer board that controls it's operation was replaced. Just after the warranty had expired one of the crispers cracked around its handle and since that time, all four have cracked in the same place. I was told I could pay around $70 for a new crisper.

It seems that cheap plastics were used, compounded by poor design that I paid big $ to avoid.

I have a house full of Miele products that have been pretty good. Although this refrigerator keeps everything very cold, I have been disappointed with the bad quality of the crispers and the attitude from Miele re this issue. It is clearly a fault in the quality of the product.

I would recommend a Miele refrigerator, but would qualify it with our experience. Miele products do require you to attend to their maintenance. This is something that the sellers are not good at demonstrating. It is a nice design, it has terrific glass shelves and keeps everything very cold. The quality of its crispers, the computer breakdown and an issue with it's cleaning that we were not aware of until things got a bit smelly because of a blockage of a drainage pipe. This needs to be checked each month.

Wish I could give it no stars – So bad it not funny. very poor door seal, constant flooding, light melted. Shelves brittle. Really don't have a positive thing to say worst fridge I have ever owned. Very poor customer service to go with it. Charged me a fortune to not fix it. Avoid!! Bought a house full of high end Miele products and the vacuum is the only thing that isn't garbage. Rip off in every way. Zilch Expensive, very poor make, bad service constant flooding and breaks very easy
