Miele 321L Bottom Mount KFN14827SDECS

KFN 14842 SD ed/cs Very Disappointing. Don't waste your money – The first fridge was a lemon and after a couple of call outs, the beginnings of rust on the outside and a complete melt down inside, hey replaced it. The second fridge has a recurring problem with the top door hinge. It keeps cracking the inner plastic plate. They've replaced it at least twice and the hinge once. The stainless steel inside the fridge in the door started rusting so they replaced them too and the door handle which started clunking. I have kept the plastic wrapping on this second fridge to slow down the rust. Miele doesn't make a white version for the Australian market. I was led to believe this fridge was made in Germany but it wasn't. I bought a washing machine at the same time. It was made in Germany. It works like a dream. Apart from that, the freezer is tiny. Unfortunately, we didn't open both drawers in the shop. The bottom drawer is much smaller than the top drawer to accommodate the motor. I will never buy another Miele fridge. Next time I will buy one Made in Japan!
