The Least User & Environmental Friendly Cooktop – I got this cooktop purely because it was the only one available to replace my old one without necessarily reshaping the existing stone benchtop. Compared to all other cooktops & a previous Miele I have used before, this one cannot light any of its burner without holding the knob down for at least 10 sec after hearing the clicking sound. If me… Read more

releases the knob too soon, the fire jus won’t stay, and the whole process needs to be repeated again. Thus, I still have great difficulty to light the burner successfully in one go, which is very counter-intuitive & wasting of precious energy source & one’s money! The positive thing on this model is its burners have higher power output & hence facilitate the cooking process in some cases.

I am not sure how the engineer had initially conceived & concluded this would be a better design for the users & our environment. This model should be discontinued to save the reputation of this prestigious company.

I love Miele, but not this gas cooktop! – I bought this cooktop for its design, functionality and because it's a Miele. From early on it was hard to clean, I complained to Miele and they sent me the cleaning product. While it helped a little it doesn't remove difficult stains. The middle and top left hob area discoloured and when I requested a call out the service man was rude and blamed… Read more

me for the way I used it. I didn't realise the reflective heat from a wide saucepan would cause discolouration of the stainless steel.

For the price you pay its not worth it.

Sub Standard Product for the money – I purchased the product from E & S in Preston DEC 2020. I am so disappointed in the quality and use of this product. The stainless steel grade is shocking, it scratches so easily, and leaves water stain marks even if they are wiped immediately. It is impossible to keep clean and the parts are so light they feel like plastic. The cast iron is also… Read more

impossible to maintain as I have been unable to remove basic marks even following the instructions of use. It appears to have been used for years and it has only been months. The ignition on the main burner just keeps turning itself off. I sent customer service pictures of the problems a couple of months ago and I am still waiting to hear. I expected so much more from this brand, It is definitely not worth the money a very substandard product. if you are looking for a product that is high quality and easy to clean stay away from any Stainless steel Gas Cook tops from Miele. I sincerely regret purchasing this product.

Scratched easily – Bought this cooktop with our new build as I love cooking with gas. Unfortunately this model scratched easily and looks like it’s years old rather than several months old. Very disappointing consider how much extra I paid for it. In saying that it works very well. Burners are spaced out well.  Show details

Does the job – As per the title say, its a gas cooktop and does the job. But being Miele expected better from the quality of the burners and knobs. I like that its a flat fit design so the burner are sunken and are at the same level as the benchtop but it does make cleaning a harder job.  Show details

Difficult to clean – Like the previous reviewer, I too bought a Miele cooktop expecting that it would perform well, having been delighted with our Miele oven. Unfortunately, the cooktop is a nightmare to clean, and that the burners stain after the slightest spillage and nothing can get them clean. Have also found that the coating on the trivets started wearing away… Read more

after only about 3 uses - perhaps the frypan scraped them slightly? More worryingly, the knobs are placed too close to the burners and become hot to the touch. The trivets are heavy and removing them for cleaning is a pain because of the way they interlock. Overall, we are very disappointed and would tell others to steer well away from the KM range of cooktops. We have the KM 2334.

Be wary – Bought this last year. It had to fit into a particular space and I was looking forward to gas cooking after finding electric hot plates not so good.I have several Meile appliances and thought quality would be excellent. The cooktop cooks well but it is difficult to clean and the whole thing seems to have been designed by someone who has never… Read more

cleaned up after cooking. The burners seem to stain very easily, even from promptly wiped up boil overs. The slightly matt stainless steel finish marks very easily and the stains seem impossible to remove. The knobs now have shiny and matt patches which make them look dirty although they are wiped as in the instructions. Altogether very unsatisfactory.

I had used a brilliant cooktop in the UK last year, good solid stainless steel, burners didn't fall apart at the slightest touch and cleaning it up was so simple. Pity I can't remember the brand!
