MiniJumbuk advertise this product as providing pain relief. This was the main reason for my purchase. After losing some weight, I began experiencing some pain during the night due to the relative increase in firmness of my mattress. I really wanted this mattress topper to be the solution and believed the claims I read on the product page. However, the product did not stop me from waking with pain during the night.
I was also intrigued by the claims made by MiniJumbuk that use of their product will result in a lower heart rate while you sleep. Data tracked by Fitbit shows that my resting heart rate instead increased for the 4 consecutive nights that I used the mattress topper (see screenshot, Tue-Fri) and dropped back down after discontinuing its use.
When attempting to return the product, the staff member I spoke to in store told me, in defence of the product, that a mattress topper will not alter the firmness of a mattress. This is despite the fact that altering the firmness of a mattress is the very purpose of a mattress topper. This staff member was not very understanding of my situation as a consumer and seemed more interested in protecting Myer from a loss. I believe it was their intention that I give up on obtaining a refund.
I want to stress that after reading the product page, I really wanted to love this mattress topper. MiniJumbuk promise a more restful sleep. However, I have found the opposite to be true. All of this culminates in a very negative experience.

wool the other with a generous elastic fitted sheet shirt. No ties but doesn't seem to need them. I slept like a baby, super snug but not overwhelming. Absolutely beautiful. Made in country SA and reminds me of a time when Australian made products where common and of great quality. 10/10. Wished I had bought it years ago.
Sagging after a few weeks – I purchased the sleep therapy mattress topper from Myer less than two months ago. Initially it was amazing to sleep on and reduced pressure on my hip which has been very sore lately. I have since lost my Myer receipt and Minijumbuk are unable to assist. Very disappointed as if it lasted as it was initially it would have been perfect for my needs.

Bliss – Purchased this after buying a super firm mattress (with no pillow top incorporated as part of it) and finding it a little too firm for comfort, even 2 months later. the bed, I opted to put the topper on the bed with the wool side down / cotton side up - and have felt the same level of warmth (not too hot, not too cold). The benefit for me is in the solid nights sleep, and reduced aches and pains I have in the morning. The topper softens the sleeping surface, allowing the mattress to provide the support, and the topper to provide the comfort when I sleep. It's been bliss. I've afew items from this brand now (mattress protector, pillows, ugg boots) and have found them to be well made, and long lasting. Hoping for the same with this mattress topper. I highly recommend it, especially because its Australian made, machine washable, and reversible.
