Good quality but too loud – Surprised and impressed how well made the fan is, and it has some weight to it including the motor which would indicate that its a decent unit. But Loud! I know its a high velocity fan and I was expecting noise but I thought the lowest setting would at least be bearable. Nope! Even the lowest setting is like a turboprop plane taxiing on a runway. It can really move some air though. Don't listen to anyone who tells you that its quiet, they are insane.

It's a fan – Pros: Excellent price, portable, good power, three speed settings. not too noisy compared to similar fans. Cons: Either low to the ground or you have to put it on a table, but I think that's the whole point, otherwise you'd get a pedastal fan. Metal, so it's more durable and looks professional

Insanely strong and amazing! – I originally bought this fan for my room as I like to fall asleep to a fan in the evening but I turned it on when I got home and it almost blew me away! LOL! It's pretty noisy and I considered returning it but it's so powerful and great for summer I knew I'd get lots of use out of it so it stayed! And I'm very impressed :-) Happy I bought it!

Big blower – This is a good strong fan. I have not found the use for the most powerfull of the three settings as the others are quite adequet. Saying this l should point out that my living area is small at about 1.5 sq So it blows good wind, some of the minor negatives are. It is noisy, like having a DC9 in the living room. It does not oscillate, however mitigating this is the fan at 50cm is that big, it is hard not to be in its draft and finally the power cord is very short. So in all probability you'll need an extension cord
