I have a 2005 v6 automatic and the overdrive is not working. The other day I was travelling on a gravel road and all of a sudden the the revs came down to 2000 rpm which means that the overdrive kicked in. This was the first time this happened. When I stopped and switch the engine off and when resuming my trip it was back to normal - no overdrive. I live in Namibia and your comments and advice will be welcomed

I have purchased a replacement kit for sliding door middle roller. All I received is 2 nylon rollers and metal spool with metal roller bearing. Nylon rollers slide onto pins easy (done). How do I remove old metal spool (without bearing) from bracket and put new spool with bearing in?

Hi, I recently took my 2014 D5 on the beach and while in Auto was awesome. I did however have a go at using the paddles and in the centre of the dash board screen alot of Japanese writing and an icon that looked like a temperature gauge appeared. It lasted for about 1 minute after i put it back into drive. I also hit some tree roots while driving. Here's the Problem. When i start the car in the morning it all sounds normal until I accelerate and there is a whining noise that gets louder the more you rev. It does not happen in neutral. After 2 minutes of running noise is almost gone. Any replies will be greatly appreciated. It is a 2.8l turbo diesel. by the way what other motor in Mitsubishi uses this motor. We have a diesel 1998 Delica and experiencing a shutter problem going at speeds from 50-80kms. Seems to not happen consistently though?? Anyone have experienced this?

i have a 1995 Delica Had a problem with the timing chain and cracked head Fitted a new head ... timing chain and guides ... water pump ... solenoid ... new glow plugs.. and injectors checked everything Started it up and had a noise in the engine I have a stethoscope so located the noise to just below the head in the chain chamber ... so took the chain tensioner off and replaced it with the old one that was still good ... that reduced the noise by better than half So ... i have a camera that i inspected the chain with as i had suspected the chain may have jumped the sprocket and only riding on one tooth .. but that was not the case I am now trying to decide to remove it all Does anyone have any ideas??
