Nothing comes close to this bad boy – We have one this fridge for three years now and I can"t say one thing bad about it. Extremely quiet. Very well laid out for usability and maintains temperatures in all areas really well. Cheap on energy use. Very easy to clean and no hand prints on outside to worry about. Ice maker works very well even though it has a water tank that… Read more

requires filling, inside fridge.

It wasn't cheap but we both think it was worth the investment. Haven't looked back!

Versa draw is a bonus when things like ice-cream are not kept hard like a stone.

Replaced with 20 years old of Mitsubishi fridge which still had worked – I love Mitsubishi fridge. This is my second fridge. Previous fridge lasted for 20 years so I was surprised to see how the fridge has been transformed. The ice maker makes ice automatically, I don't need to tip the tray at all. The half freeze section makes me to defrost some things more crumbly so easy to break. Lower drawers of vegetable component / freezer is easy to reach since I have some knee problem to bend down.

Looks great, not the wow factor we were expecting – We bought our fridge in July 2013 after reading all the blogs. It looks flash but doesn't perform as well as a $3600 fridge should. We had scratches on the ice drawer on delivery. It took 2 months to be replaced after a salesman came out to check. The ice maker is useless and absurdly slow. I filled the water container this week after forgetting to… Read more

refill it and after 3 hrs it had not dispensed water into the tray. At other times it sits for 1-2 hours with ice in the tray that has to be manually dispensed into the drawer. We rang Mitsubishi about this problem who gave us a number to call. They told us they employ no fridge mechanics themselves, they are outsourced. We have called this fridge mechanic 4 times and he never returns our call, always too busy to talk, we're still waiting. The vegie drawer doesn't keep the vegies fresh. After 3-4 days tomatoes start to wither and go soft, mushrooms do the same, lettuce, zucchini and cucumbers all go mushy. At Christmas I had baby spinach in the old fridge and after 4 weeks it was still fresh.

Its easy to offer 5 yrs warranty if you don't have a service man to come out to service it. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Better than the newer touch-button version – We got one of these back in August 2013. Great fridge; quiet, high quality, sturdy, roomy, feature rich (without gimmicky stuff), veg keeps better and fresher longer, great to put hot stuff in and just a good fridge. However, the main (top right) door wasn't quite closing properly and was a bit warped. After some to-ing and fro-ing with… Read more

Mitsubishi (quickly sent an engineer round and said it needed a new door coming from Japan that would take a while. I made some protest noises) and they - thru the supplier AppliancesOnline - said they would replace it with a newer model.

The newer model, generally the same but with some good & bad points. We dont think the quality is quite as good (the draws dont glide as the older model did, they kinda grind a bit, and the ice draw appears to overfill with the detector not working to stop making more cubes which also seem to come out with the cubes still linked together!). the touch buttons and not as 'nice' as the real buttons and the surface finish is not the nice brushed-steel look (seems to have aplastic coating). However the doors are heavier and feel better, the interior is roomier and the door closes properly.

So, if getting this fridge (which is still the best fridge we have ever had, but we are still unsure if the price tag is really worth it) make sure you get the older model with the lazy-susan top-shelf. Features. Sound (there isn't any!), Quality and Customer Service Newer model just not quite as good as the older version in quality, finish and controls tactility

Can't believe a good fridge would make that big of a difference – We got this fridge 4 weeks ago, at its great! I would never have thought a good fridge could make my life easier, but it does! All the different drawers are great, and I even have a dedicated shelf for my beer. And the deep pockets in the doors are really good. With our old fridge I would always just throw things in there and make a mess, but now… Read more

Fantastic Fridge – We have had this for nearly a year now can not fault it. Works and perfoms faultless does everything it calims have used all the features and they do work. The soft freeze section is great for keeping meats just frozen is intending to use in the next few days. I can not see the issue with 3LT milk containers as others have stated we fit 2 of them… Read more

side by side in the fridge door on the right side. far as I know all suppliers of milk use the same size containers.

The Fridge is so quite you need to check to make sure it is still on when you first use it as the old rattlers from yester year are noisy. Overall best fridg I have ever owned Quite, effiecent heaps of room. Vegie draw needs to be set to high mode to keep vegie fresh

Fantastic Fridge! – Fantastic fridge, quality plastic used, big door fridges with deep pockets. Very reliable & extra quiet when operating. Love the colour. ice tray functions as it should and love the re-fillable tank - rather than a feed in water supply. Love the blue light. deep vege section which my wife likes ours didn't come with the ice tray mat, called mitsubishi - took 2 months to be delivered.

Roll on xmas – I saw this fridge at Harvey Norman, Brown Plains. Its compact and slimline style is perfect for the space i have and for my needs. The turntable will allow me to reach all my food items. The freezer and semi freezer is great for bulk buying specials and its just perfect for an elderly person like myself. My grandson thinks so too. The slimline size and compact storage areas

Can't wait to see it meet my expectations – I was not going to buy it because of the price, then I went to .energyrating.gov.au and discovered the enormous savings on my yearly power bill. I had to redesign my kitchen anyway and will happily make it fit this fridge. The drawers height is clever, making it much easier to open than other French door fridges. Very happy – I am very pleased with this fridge a small negative is that there is nowhere to place a large 3 litre bottle. I have my 3 litre milk bottle in the vege drawer as it sits there so well, hopefully that is okay, it's easy access for the kids. I feel I am not making proper use of the versa drawer at the moment it only has my ice cream in it what do others do with it? Easy Access to all areas, the drawers work well, lots of storage  Show 2 replies

Not Happy – We got rid of our old Westinghouse of 20 yrs - still going; altered kitchen for this big shiny machine with all the raves - silent - yes - many, many great features - jury out on these. All the raves - ok - The vege/fruit drawer - disaster - within 3-4 days firm tomatoes soft and soggy. Not happy - kept old fridge though luckily Jury out at present vege/fruit drawer

Fantastic Fridge – Bought this fridge because our new place cannot accommodate the width of a 2-door fridge. I have been using it for almost a month now. It is as big as a 2-door (If not bigger, 637 ltr) , silent, energy efficient. Totally sold on the soft freeze feature! The best part is that it comes with 5-year warranty. Love it!  Show 6 replies

Just love my new fridge – I purchased my fridge 3 weeks ago and I am totally happy with it. It is quiet. My old fridge was so noisy - This one seems to be totally silent. The French doors are great as my fridge is in a corridor space. The lazy susan at the top of the fridge is great as I am only 150cm tall. Vegemite in the front and curry pastes at the back. The ice… Read more

maker is great - did not have to get the fridge plummed. I am about to freeze some hot food - this is how I found this site - I think this is a wonderful feature. The separate crisper draw at the bottom is great for this family as we are big consumers of fruit and veg and it is good not to open the refrigerator to get supplies. All over I am loving this thing. It also looks amazing. The delivery guys commented on its looks - good for the ego. ike everything no problems

Finally happy with a fridge – We needed a low noise fridge with left hand hinge and got burned with a westinghouse upside down (too noisy). This fridge while expensive has definitely been a winning choice. The french door doesn't need a lot of space or block access, the multi drawer system looks at first to give worryingly little fridge space but the huge veggie/fruit drawer… Read more ·  1

makes up for all that.

The ice making system is less likely to absorb smells. It has some unique tech -- whether you will use it is a different matter. The shelving system is well thought out. Did I mention it is quiet? it is so very quiet. LED lighting. I like how it looks. Very quiet, energy efficient, almost silent Big milk may not as easily fit into the door, made for Japanese-sized drink bottles

Can't fault it – We looked for a long time to find a fridge that fitted our needs, and the MR-ERS matched and exceeded all our wants and needs. It is now the showcase of our kitchen, and for once we didn't struggle over the festive session to store all the food and drinks that come with celebrations. We have also noted a decrease in running cost with lower power… Read more ·  3

bills compared to previous years, and the ice maker just keeps making ice faster than we can consume it. The designers at Mitsubishi got it all correct when designing this fridge. Thank you. Ice maker is very efficient (and not plumbed in - so no risk of flooding.) Lots of space, easy access to all compartments While dearer than others in the stable, I am sure that we will have it for a long time.

Best appliance I have purchased – I love my fridge. It has so many features . The ice drawer is great and the water container means I can fill it with our filtered water. The vege and freezer compartment are very good with plenty of room. The lazy Susan in the top means you can find things pushed to the back of the shelf. Very versatile. Love the ice drawer and versi drawer, energy efficient  Show 3 replies

Best fridge we have ever had! – We have had this fridge for a couple of weeks and are really thrilled with it. It delivers on everything it promises. The temperatures in each section are accurate (we had so many problems with our old fridge that my husband had bought a special thermometer to see what was happening and he immediately had it out to test out this new one) and the… Read more

food keeps beautifully. The fruit and vegetables seem even fresher once they have been in that drawer than when they first went in! The soft freeze function is so useful and will be even more so in the hot weather. Energy efficient, quiet, easy to use, effective use of space, no big bulky doors to use. Expensive but feels very well made and will hopefully give good service! Difficult to find one to actually see on the showroom floor.

Sensational fridge! – We have had this fridge for a couple of months now, and it is easily the best we've ever owned. So many innovative features - the soft freeze drawer is such a boon and a fantastic feature, the lazy-susan top shelf is wonderful for shorties like us, the ice-maker, not plumbed and every part completely washable, makes a drawer full of ice-cubes… Read more ·  13

overnight. The fridge is whisper quiet, and being Japanese built has a solid feel to it, with a manufacturers 5 year warranty. What's not to like about it? Really worth trying to go the extra dollars to own such a fantastic looking, beautiful colour, workable fridge which has oodles of space and yet has a width of just 750mm. Our fridge opening was 790 and this fits in so well and yet has given us so much extra fridge/freezer space than anything else on the market. Highly recommend if you are seeking the very latest in innovations and anti-bacterial technology and have a small fridge opening. Try and see the in-store video which explains the features way better than I can. Innovative, energy efficient, great styling.

Great fridge, great functions! – Japanese made, how can you go wrong? The vegetable crisper and vitamin factory, with less nutrient loss is a key feature for me as I am really health orientated. Also the non wash ice filter will save me alot of money over a 10 year period, it far out weighs the extra initial costs, also taking into consideration that I am yet to find a more energy efficient french door. produce drawer, energy efficiency
