I purchased the Ticwatch Pro 5 in September 2025 directly from Mobvoi. In May 2026 the battery started to swell rendering the screen unusuable. When I reached out to Mobvoi for repair or replacement they said it was my fault that I used the watch in the shower, despite it being 5ATM water resistance rating (water-resistant up to 50 meters or 164… Read more

feet). It is also certified with the MIL-STD-810H military standard for durability against environmental stresses like rain and shock. Until this point it had never occurred to me I shouldnt wear it in the shower. They point out it is stated not to do so on their website. I did not see this particular fine print, but based my purchase decision off the waterproof specs provided. I have previously owned Fitbit, Samsung, Huawei and Garmin smart watches and none of these brands suffered the same fate using them in the shower. My previous experience has taught me expect a little over 2 years of daily use for a smartwatch before issues set in. This one lasted around 8 months of daily wear. After going back and forward for weeks, Mobvoi offerred 30% as a refund. Before this I was very impressed with the watch, however the after sales support for a faulty item means that I can no longer recomend the product or company.

Bought a Ticwatch Pro 5. Worked ok for a month or two then started having all sorts of charging problems, sometimes wouldn't charge at all, sometimes discharged, sometimes would only charge to 47% then 88%. Bluetooth connectivity problems, boot loops, you name it, this watch has suffered from it. Now the screen is just stuck on a nasty test… Read more

pattern-like fault and going nowhere. Can't power it off, can't reset it. This watch is an absolute piece of crap, don't buy it!

Avoid Ticwatch at all costs – Don't ever buy anything from ticwatch...throw it in the bin as nothing works on it not even the correct time.

Obsolete and no customer support! – I strongly advise you NOT to purchase from Mobvoi, a dishonest and dishonorable Chinese company. They are selling watches with an obsolete operating system that continues to become less and less functional due to application requirements. They are telling lies about updates and warranty! They cover nothing under warranty, only offer a "$20… Read more

discount on a new watch purchase".

There have been no updates on their $299 "Ultra Pro 3" since October 2021. It runs the outdated and obsolete Wear OS2, despite their promise to provide an update to the mid-2021 release of Wear OS3 by December 2022.

As far as their promise for the Wear OS update in Q3 2023, it is just another stall tactic. 3rd quarter came and went with no update, JUST LIKE LAST YEAR! The company is fraudulent, dishonest, and sells low quality Chinese [Content Removed]. You might as well buy something from Alibaba or Temu. At least it won't cost you $300!

Their new Ticwatch 5 is running Wear OS3, so Mobvoi's claim that they cannot update the Ultra Pro 3 due to difficulties getting the dual display to work with Wear OS3 is an outright lie.

They provide NO tech support, and NO customer service. They do not honor their warranty, and they deceive and lie.

Never again – I bought a watch, it was dead on arrival, so I asked for a refund and left bad feedback and opened a PayPal case after they ignored my refund request. They then offered to send a replacement watch if I closed the PayPal case. The replacement is also dead on arrival. They won't respond to my emails and I can no longer open a PayPal case for this… Read more

Zero technical assistance – After checking some reviews (definitely, not long-term), I got impressed with what Ticwatch could do (pure WatchOS, with NFC, etc..). Then I asked my brother-in-law to bring one for me from the USA (4G version). He bought it for me, but he wasn't able to bring it due to the pandemic. After a couple of months, he sent me through the postal service.… Read more

Summing up, I've used it for a couple of months, and then the battery simple died, I cannot charge it at all, but unfortunately, my warranty period has expired. When I contacted the Mobvoi support team, they said they could only offer me a 20% discount to buy a new one, and they didn't have any authorized assistance in Australia. So, I've got a faulty smartwatch that I cannot even repair. I regret that I haven't bought a smartwatch for well-known brands like Samsung, which have technical assistance all over the country. Do not buy anything from Mobvoi, because you won't have any assistance.

Do not waste your Money and Time – I bought a Tic watch for a present and it arrived faulty the LED screen does not show all the segments. I have contacted them and they are refusing to provide a refund. What a crapy service and product. Better to spend a bit more on a smartwatch than wasting all your money on this. I also noticed they have their google reviews turned off, no wonder why! Again do not waste your money and time. Show details

Low quality, terrible battery and even worse customer service – My title says it all, bought a ticwatch, did all the recommended things to make sure the battery gets full potential and last for less then half a day, with flight mode enabled just over half a day. I contacted them about this issue and all they offered for 30% off a new watch! Absolute crap. Stay away from Mobvoi products! Show details

Terrible service, fault products – Bought a Ticwatch Pro 3. Within a few days the battery charger stopped working so I tried to file a warranty claim. They redirected me to their online portal. They responded for a bit and said they would send out a charger. When I chased up the new charger they stopped providing any responses. I am now trying to file a refund case with PayPal who… Read more

I do not recommend buying any products from Mobvoi and if you choose to do so, go through a third party such as Amazon as PayPal protections are useless.

Worst experience! Awful customer service – 1. Sent a broken watch. 2. Didn't respond to my warranty request for over a week. 3. Called customer service - they don't deal with warranty returns - need to email China... What the? 4. Organise a replacement - find out a week later they never shipped it. 5. Replacement watch arrives - it's also broken?#? Now we start all over again... Worst service ever! Show details

Piece of Junk – Bought the tic watch pro and it worked for a few months suddenly it wouldn't charge and eventually ran out of battery and wouldn't turn on. Poor Battery Life - Why Should I Need to Switch to Essential Mode? – My TicWatch Pro doesn't hold up to the hype in regards to battery life. I've had the watch for nearly 3 months and I need to charge it EVERY Night. Presently, it is 12:50pm (Arabian Standard Time/Kuwait) as I write this and the watch is at 67%. I've been wearing the watch for just about 6 hours today. I have similar concerns with my TicPod Free… Read more

(earbuds). I was excited for both but won't buy another Mobvoi product for a long time, if ever. Their customer service is mediocre at best. The user must contact customer service, fill out a warranty request form, a few days later answer more questions and upload pictures. How can a person take a picture of poor battery life? Very frustrating experience. I've purchased a set of JBL Endurance Peak earbuds as a replacement for the TicPods. A costly lesson learned. Please Note: I purchased both from Mobvoi's Website.

After 9 months I officially hate this watch – After much research, including this website, I bought the Ticwatch Pro. It is now patently obvious that none of the reviews were long term, living with this watch for a few months is a completely different kettle of fish. It's no Samsung Galaxy watch (which my wife has) but at $280 on special, it seemed like a good buy, I now regret not getting… Read more

the Samsung for less than 100 extra. Battery life when using the LED screen is not as good as the Samsung, so far with moderate use I've managed 2 days before it got to 30%, I think this is around a day short of the galaxy watch. That said it was also over $130 cheaper. I din't really buy this watch as a fitness tracker which is just as well as the heart rate monitor is a s good as useless!! I have tried all sorts of positions on my arm/wrist and whilst it is randomly in the ball park, when I am exercising it can be up to 50 BPM out !! This makes the fitness part of the watch as good as useless, also the 24 hr heart monitor doesn't work either. The step counter does seem to be somewhere in the ballpark tho. The smartwatch features all seem to work pretty well with no clunkiness to speak of, downloading an app or an update is slower than paint drying but I suspect this is the case with any smartwatch. Important!! Since owning this watch for 3 months, other than the fitness part of it being useless, it disconnects from your phone regularly without any notice, when you get a message or a call and the watch doesn't react, that's your first clue it has disconnected even tho the wear OS app says its connected !! The clue is that the battery charge is not displayed. Also, all the watch faces look like toy watch faces unlike the Samsung, so I'm changing the rating to a 2. Oh, and good luck with getting support, LOL UPDATE : 20 October 2020. Its official, I hate this watch. It has gone back for warranty after less than a year with a black mark now showing on the LCD screen. Other than that, all the above is unchanged and I wish I'd spent an extra 100 on a Samsung galaxy watch, my wife has none of the issues I have.

UPDATE : Uggh, bought a Samsung galaxy watch and almost topped myself over trying to get the flippin thing to connect, after a week and hours of research I got it sorted but now owning a galaxy watch has proven to me the ticwatch isn't too bad after all, so I changed the star rating accordingly. The Samsung is probably superior in a few ways but ease of connectivity is definitely not one of them

Too much hype, a few big issues – After reading many tech reviews convinced myself that this was the smart watch to have. Big disappointment. Battery life is very poor , nothing like advertised . Having massive problems with software and Bluetooth connectivity.

Bang for buck – Ordered this direct from Mobvoi for $277.49, delivered in 3 days. Brilliant! Build quality is very good including a clever interchangeable leather/rubber strap. Had this for nearly a month now after owning LG Watch Sport (appaling battery life) and Samsung Gear S3 (dreadful Tizen OS) and can honestly say I am overall very impressed. Battery life… Read more

is excellent, AmoLED is very good (as is 2nd LCD scree) and Wear OS is superior to Tizen hands down. Better than average number of screens to choose from is a plus also. Only downside is slight lag when battery is in power saving mode. Solution, switch off.

Mediocre. Does the job but not the best – The smartwatch handles all the tasks and activities it is set out to do, however, the gestures can be bit buggy and lag without slow, smooth controlled movements. It works well as long as you aren't rushing around it. The pre-installed ticwatch software 'tichealth, tic pulse,...' could all be integrated a little better on the smart phone to make a… Read more

smoother experience.

Battery life is good/ok. Depends on your activity and watch face used as this heavily affects it. on the more aesthetic or colourful faces, battery life would last 1 day. Using stock watch faces with a darker skin can last up to 2.5 days average (this is running an always on screen). Rarely finding myself using essential mode however i can see its benefits as it can run when you reach critical battery.

The charging pad is a little frustrating with poor build quality. Had to get a replacement in for a faulty charge cable.

All in all, probably amongst the better watches on the market comparatively with the battery life and Wear OS however little lackluster in the whole experience.

Promises much, disappointing delivery – After using my new TicWatch Pro for over a month, I am disappointed. The heart rate monitor is off by at least 25 beats per minute on average. GPS is sporadic. The watch keeps time just fine, but you don't need to spend so much money just to keep accurate time. Show details

Ticwatch Pro, hmmm... not as good as expected – I was looking for a smartwatch. Galaxy Watch was my first choice until I watched some YouTube reviews, they said Tichwatch Pro is a good alternative for the Galaxy watch if you think it's too expensive. I was convinced, purchased one about a week ago. it was on special, cost me $270. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: 1. low cost. 2. good… Read more

looking. Im really happy with the look. personally, I think it looks as sexy as galaxy watch 3. The essential mode is pretty cool.

Cons: 1. screen quality is far behind the Galaxy watch. Watch faces ain't looking as good as in the photos on their website. not very bright. I struggle to read the watch under direct sunlight. 2. lagging. so bad, some apps take a few seconds to load up. 3. features are limited. no auto detection for activities. You have to manually start and stop an activity. And no sleep tracking. (Even my daughter's $90 fitbit has that). 4. Not very smooth to use. I still can't get the contactless credit card working. I guess you need to unlock the watch, open the app, but as I said it's lagging so bad, I've given up to try. I just use my phone instead. And I found sometimes it's stuck on the activity I just finished on the essential screen (so it displays activity stats rather than time, very annoying). I have to start and stop a new activity to fix it.

Conclusion: if you don't mind to spend $300 for a sexy looking watch and don't care about the rest, it's for you. Personally, I don't think it's worth it. I would spend a little more to get a decent one.
